This number has been calling me for the last few weeks and when I answer I just hear a click.

Who are these people / company?  And, why do they keep interrupting us?

This is not Wells Fargo have been tracking fraud calls for a few weeks and this is one of them. I called Wells Fargo and they said its a scam coming from there number I've reported this number and am still tracking this number and where it's coming from by time I get done with these people thell be behind bars. I deal with major fraud investigations like this for a living!

I get MANY calls from this number EVERY day.  Sometimes I answer, but now I just ignore the call because the many times I have answered, I simply say, "hello", and they immediately hang up - EVERY SINGLE TIME!  Thats why I just ignore the calls now, but the many calls in a day's time is VERY annoying!!!  If it were Wells Fargo, what purpose would they have in calling day after day, hour after after hour only to just hang up when I answer???

Calls a few times a day. If I answer, they hang up. If it goes to voicemail, they never leave one. Highly doubt WF would do that. Aside from that, I dont even have a WF account of any type. Anymore I just added them to my cell phone and put their ringer on silent, that way I now dont even know they called until I look at my missed calls.

I've read all the arguing and bickering back and forth on this site (and others) about the origin of this number and who is really behind it. Honestly, I don't care if it is a scam or not.
I have a Wells Fargo account, but my account is current and there is money in the account. I am not currently over drafted, I don't owe Wells Fargo any money and even if an overdraft did occur, my account is set up to transfer funds from my credit card to cover it.
So there isn't any excuse for this number to be calling me multiple times a day, even if it isn't a scam, which seems unlikely.
I've filed complaints with the FCC and I suggest everyone else do the same!

As I stated previously, I owe Wells Fargo NOTHING.

I called Wells Fargo today using the number on the back of my card and spoke with them about this. They both confirmed for me that my account was fully paid and current, that I owed them nothing and that there was no reason why anyone would be contacting me to collect any debt. They also clearly stated that no calls from Wells Fargo would EVER come from a 503 area code.

This is undeniably a scam of some kind. The facts prove it. This number may be some 3rd party billing company falsely trying to identify themselves as Wells Fargo, hoping that you will give them money if they harass you enough, or it may be a phishing scam of some mind. Whoever it is, it is definitely NOT Wells Fargo! Don't give them any money or any information!
