Violated the Do Not Call Registry. Unsolicited telemarketer, called my cell phone. A recorded message attempting to get me to accept a credit card consolidation loan. Offer to put you in touch with a live operator if you push "1" on the keypad.  Don't give your number to anyone if you can help it. Major chain companies put those numbers in their computers, sometimes sell customer information, but it can leak out in other ways.

I got a call....I don't have a credit card, knowing it's a scam I played along. I told the guy I don't have any cards, is this a scam.....the guy says O got to go....

Got call saying the same. I don't have any credit cards. I played along. Told the guy I don't have any, then asked this is a scam. The guy says O got to go.... If I don't call them I'm not giving my information.

I had the same thing happen. I pressed 1 because there, and when the person answered they said, "So you're interested in lowering your credit rates?" I said "No, I'm interested in being removed from your call list." CLICK!!! They hung up instantly.

The same thing happened to me.  I hit 1 and a representative came on the phone.  I asked to be removed from the calling and she hung up.

Got a call...no message

Received a call on this number offering to lower credit card interest rates, although it is registed in the national do not call.  When I requested no further calls, the rep hung up.

I just received a call on my cell, I answered it, will this harm me?

This just happened to me too... I pushed 1 to tell them to remove me and she hung up as soon as I said no, actually I'm calling....

This recording was to inform me that I had received several opportunities to drop my credit card debt and interest rate to as low as 6%. This is kind of hard for me to do if I do not have a credit card. They are continuing to call my cell phone that is on a no call list. I can not ask them to not call me again because it is a recording that starts the message in mid sentence so I do not even know who the company is. I do not want to get calls from this company again.

I had the exact SAME experience.

these jerks call me at least 3 x per week from different numbers.  I finally got them back today .... pressed "1" to get a live person and as soon as they answered, i blew a bull horn in their ear.... gonna do that everytime they call from now on... maybe they will stop calling because asking them to stop or filing a complaint doesn't work.

I have received several calls from this number...It is a SCAM...don't reply/don't answer

I have been called five times. I played along twice to try to learn more about the company. The operator identified the company as "Card Services" or "Card Member Services." They apparently want you to think they are calling from one of your existing credit card companies. It appears they want to get my credit card account information to "validate" whether I would qualify for their offer.  They appear to be offering a way to lessen interest payments, but I think they are deceitful.

When I told the operator I have a number of credit cards, and I wasn't sure which credit card they represented, the operator hung up. The next time I asked the operator several times for the physical address of the company, and they again hung up. I called back once and it was immediately disconnected. I called back again today and a recording gave me the option to press "1" to opt-out of future calls. The calls clearly violate the Do-Not-Call Improvement Act of 2007.

They make these calls to hear pretty human voices that they don't hear otherwise because they are so physically, morally, and sexually grotesque. This is the only thing they can do. Think, why would someone call you, hear your voice, and then hang up?  They're smelly and ugly!!!! These are the people you see on the bus that you don't want to sit next to. Their body odor hits you as the doors open.
