Called but hung up when I answered.

I received a call from this number, I answered, no one said anything, so I hung up.  Glad I checked on here...I'll send'em straight to voicemail now.

I received a call from this number. I called it back and asked that I put in my number for the do not call list. So I did, then a friend texted me that I called her, which I didnt. I think they got my phone numbers off my phone. The message also gave a 800# to call and talk with the company.

Called my cell, left no message. When I call it back it is as if someone answers but there is nothing said and then it disconnects.

how do these people get other peoples phone numbers?

Same as all other posts. Wants to lower my credit payments, which I have none.Called my cell phone which I have NEVER used for anything but my personal calls to family and friends. Press 1 to talk to agent and when I asked to be removed.......CLICK!!!

This number is a call from a credit company, offering to lower your interest rate.  If you dial 1 for a rep and ask them to remove you from their calling list; they say they can't help you and hang up.

My fiance and I both got calls from this # and another 503 #. We thought it was his stalker, turned out to be a line to remove your # from their list. So stupid. I thought it was illegal to call cell phone #'s for telemarketing?

Why would anyone even answer these numbers,If I don't know who called ,I don' answer.

For nearly a year I have been receiving strange calls from various numbers. I used to answer them, now I don't. They never had my name or information correct and rarely spoke English. I have recently gotten many calls, back to back, early in the morning or very late at night. I am under the suspicion that cell phone companies are selling numbers to telemarketers. I've spoken to many of my friends, they do not have this issue because they are not under a VERIZON plan - the ones who are with Verizon do get calls and texts. Here are some numbers that have been calling me - mind you that I have  no debt, loans or credit cards, bizarre huh? The less you answer/text them to stop the less they call. Reporting the numbers to the phone company does help some. The more you answer the worse it gets - they may be checking for valid numbers or any personal information. Many of the voices have been the same, only 1 English speaking American out of all the numbers I have been called from - annoying!

I just got a call from this number. Anyone know who it is?

They called to tell me I can get a lower interest rate via a recorded message. I was asked to press 1 to speak to a rep so I did, then before I could get a word in, this guy asked how many credit cards I had and I told him I wanted to inform him I was on the do not call list and he hung up on me

received a mesage on my answering machine, but it was all stackie.  Couldn't understand what they were saying.

I got a call and there was a computerized voice wanting me to wait for important call about my credit - so I did  wanting to tell them to take me off their call list.

Got some guy who hung up on me immediately when I asked this.

I called back and got a recording (same voice as the hangerupper) telling me to enter my number to be put on their do-not-call list.   Sounded like some sort of weird scam so I did not.
