the same woman just hung up on me too !!!!  i wanted them to remove my number and she just hung up!!!  omg ... a little infuriating ...

Total scam!  The people calling are phishing.  If you have Verizon, go to your account and you can place up to 5 numbers per every 3 months on block.  We get credit card rate reduction calls on all my cell phones.  They never have accurate info.  I want to place, you've reached the DA's office on my phone and state all calls will be recorded and possibly traced.  Otherwise I have bought a Panasonic Dect phone that allows blocking where the phone company fails to do it.  Harrumph.  I'm learning to ignore and screen all calls.

Call came from Woodburn, Oregon as far as my cell phone traced it.  I tempted to pay the $10 to trace call and file charges.

Ignored caller and caller didn't leave message.

Will NOT answer any call from unknown number.

If you just call the number back, then press 1 when you hear the recording, they will take you off their "marketing" list.

The number is from a well known scamming telephone company, Pacific Telecom Communications Group. They manage to play a layered game of getting telemarketers to unsuspecting people without getting fined by the FTC. Just look them up on Google.  The company that was on the screen of my phone was US CC Group. Please report them at http://www.ftc.gov. They also use the number 206-496-0417 and probably a hundred more. All involved need to be stopped, fined and jailed.

Called my cell which I do not answer if I do not recognize the caller or telephone number.
Let it ring through.

Got a phone call from this number. The caller did not leave any message.

Also got call on cell phone. No message.

Called me cell, no voice mail.  Can't block the entire area code as I have family in that code.  I'm on do not call as well.

I recieved a call from this number to my work cell phone.  I picked up but there was no reply and then the call disconnected.  This is my second call from a 503 area code.  Last one was on 10/17 from 5035630389.  Weird.

keep getting junk calls

Robo junk call regarding credit.  Tries to scare you into talking to them.  I laughed, said @#*% you and hung up.  Immediately added them to reject list.

These idiots keep calling, and hanging up as I answer the phone.  I wonder if it has anything to do with my answering "Special Frauds, Detective *********** speaking"?

I had the same problem, ask the person to not call me again and remove my number and the person told me that I called him.  He also told me that I needed a translator since I a 40 yr old American did not understand English, maybe I can not spell but I can definetly speak it.!!!!!

got a call on my cell phone from this number. I would like to know how they got my cell and what to do to stop this. How can I block this number?

Just got a call for a last chance to lower interest rate on credit card.  Press 1 to talk to a rep.  I pressed 1, got a woman who asked if I was responding to offer to lower my credit card interest rate.

I said, "No.  I am responding to tell you to take me off your call list."  CLICK!  She hung up on me.

PHISHING SCAM: I got a generic/automated phone call to lower the rates on my credit card. I pressed 1 when prompted and informed the operator that I didn't know what card this call was concerning. He hung up. I imagine that if they get one person to "verify" their credit card information in the course of the day, it was worth all the hang ups.
