Getting several calls a days from this number.
Called it back and it states that it is the "Do not cal Register"

I think every time you apply for any type of loan these scam artists get a hit on some registry and try to get your bank information.  Do NOT ever give out any information over the phone or online unless you KNOW it is legitimate.  A legit card member service already knows your card information.  They know how much you owe and almost everything else except maybe how many times you go to the bathroom a day.  Maybe even then by how much toilet paper you buy.  I have had a caller tell me they know a family member (not me) has a bank account and threatened to take a payment from it (which is illegal and BBB called them on it).  Get the Better Business Bureau involved, because they seem to know what is legitimate and what is legal.  Unless you want to be harassed ten times a day and have your bank accounts drained dry (which can happen by accident, happened to me recently because of a careless bank teller at another bank, another horror story altogether) do NOT ever answer these people or talk to them, and if they call you at work hang up!  The world is full of crooks.  And they seem to hit poor people the hardest.

I just received a call from this number. I called back and I got a recording claiming it was a the Don not call registry and for me to enter #1 on my key pad at which time I was supposed to enter my 10 digit phone number to have my phone put on the Do Not Call List.  It is very clear to me that there is some type of SCAM.

I keep getting the same phone number calling my cell phone.  First I'd like to know how they got my cell phone number.  I finally answered it today and it claims to be about lowering my interest rate on my debt and I need to press 1 now before it's too late.  So naturally, I hung up.  I thought if you were on the do not call list you wouldn't receive these phone calls, especially to my cell!!!

after a late night, I was woken up at 9:45am on a saturday morning by a call from this number. Answered and there was no one on the line.

Got a call, left no message, called back, recording said "Welcome to the Do Not Call Registry" and please enter your phone number to stop calls.  Sounds like a scam.

Keeps calling and not leaving a message.

I have recieved several calls from this number.  When I answer, there is no one on the line.  If I call back, I recieve a message claiming to be the "national do not call service."  I am instructed to "press 1"  to be removed.  There IS something you can do to get these guys.  REPORT THEM!  Here is the link to the real do not call site.   File a complant against this number! https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

I received a call from this number this morning.  Nobody was on the line.  I called the number back and a recorded male voice said "Welcome to the automated 'Do Not Call Registry.'"  I did as instructed and entered my telephone number for the system and was told by the same male voice at the end of it that I had now been removed from their database and would not receive any more telephone calls from them.  I was also given the option to speak to a live person.  I chose to speak to someone.  The woman that answered the phone advised me that the company was a national telemarketing company.  However, she would not say who she was or the name of the company.

I have been registered on the national do not call registry for many years and I have reported this call.

By the way, they called my unlisted cell phone number.

I got an automated response telling me to enter my number to be included in their "do not call" list which will be distributed to all the customers.  I hung up!

I got a call as well.  It is definitely fraud.  They hung up when I asked too many questions.  I asked for a call back number and they gave me Visa's customer service number.

Missed call from this number today.  Glad I looked this up before calling back.  Wonder who put my cell phone number on this stupid list!!??!!

This company is phishing for your credit card information. Same recording, but the phone number is spoofed from various locations. Here is the data I have collected and turned into FCC so far.

Just got the same phone call except no one would speak when they called. So I called the number and got the message that I had reached the "National Do Not Call List" and to add my number to press 1.  I did not press 1 and just hung up.  I'm sure the "Do Not Call List People" are not calling me as that would violate their premise.

I received various telemarketing abandoned calls from this number (503-902-8252) on my cell phone. The caller did not leave any message, so I returned the missed call and was immediately transferred to an automated system. No company name, product or service was disclosed during the entire call. The system prompts you to enter your phone number to be removed from a Do Not Call Registry, which most likely is their own internal Do Not Call Registry. My phone has been registered for many years with the National Do Not Call Registry and any company should have this information readily available on their telemarketing listing prior to making any cold calls! I immediately filed a complaint online with the FCC> Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau (http://www.fcc.gov/complaints). I recommend doing the same upon receiving these type of unsolicited calls.
