- Bonnie Ann| 1 replyThey keep calling me from different numbers located in different states. Same automated message and I always press 1 to talk to a rep and then the minute I tell them to put me on their "do not call list" they hang up. EVERY TIME! This last time I said...don't hang up, but I wan't to be removed from your list!...they hung up! So aggravating.
Other numbers used:

...just to name a few- Caller: Card Member Services

- Mike replies to A.I got the same call today, and I pressed 1 and got a really rude woman. When I asked who they were and How they got my number, she said " Are you interested or not? Don't be asking who we are, and what we do, are you interested in the offer or not?" She hung up after I had a few choice words to give her. I gave her my George Carlin impression, so I don't think they will be calling me again.

- joannecontinuous calls even though I have asked to be taken off their calling list.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- RaelianSame here: They had a recording saying "welcome to the do not call registry. Please enter your phone number to now" . Any caller who does not provide clear and sufficient information is bogus. Do not be fooled. If they're legit, they should be able to explain themselves better.
Is there a central place we can report such phone numbers? Phone companies should provide such a service.- Caller: "Do not call registry"
- caryhoCard holder services calling a cell on the do not call list
- Caller: Card holder services

- KarenI called 503-902-8252 and it said "Welcome to the automated do not call list. Please press 1 on your keypad to be added to our database." NOT! It doesn't give any other name or information and needless to say I didn't enter my number. I have been called several times by this number and each time it is something different only showing it's coming in from Oregon.
- In The KnowThis is an illegal phishing company. They have been reported to all Attorneys General. Just hang up when you here card services. If it was a legit card company they would say Chase, Bank of America etc before card services. IT IS A KNOWN SCAM AND POLICE ARE WORKING ON THIS.
The first time they called me I pushed the number 1 and a guy came on who would not give his name or the company name. I hung up.
If you know any elderly people please tell them not to answer scams like this. Elderly people may believe it is legit and give their information which would be a disaster.- Caller: 503-902-8252
- ALMy cell phone caller ID showed a call from 503 902 8252 but it stop ringing before I could answer. There was no voice mail. I dialed the number from an unpublished land line and the automated answerer for the National Do Not Call (NDNC) list.
I immediately remembered that I heard of a group/company that identified itself as the NDNC but was in fact collecting numbers to publish in a database. I quickly hung up.
Be cautious!!!- Caller: National Do Not Call List (so said)
- adiboss007I answered the phone. There was a recorded message which was asking me if I was interested in lowering my credit card interest rates. I hung up without responding verbally or through my phone's keypad.

- DebbiThis has been going on for at least a year. It started with my land line but now it's my cell. I don't believe that this isn't illegal. I pay for these phone calls! I REALLY don't understand that besides PAYING for these calls I would have to pay $5 a month to stop them. None of any of this sounds correct to me somehow. What on earth is going on?? The gov used to stop these calls, along with unsolicited magazines, etc. This is no more?
- Caller: 503 902-8252
- GretaThis number called my cell phone... Did not answer the call, but number shows up as a received call. These types of incoming annoyance calls are getting more frequent to both my cell and land line... even though both my phones have been on the Do Not Call List since its inception. I guess DO NOT CALL means nothing and NOTHING gets done about this. By the way, I do not even HAVE credit card debt or whatever the heck it is they call about, so it truly p*sses me off when I get these nuisance calls.
- Caller: 503-902-8252
- TimMost cell carriers allow you to block 5-10 numbers for up to 90 days or more for no charge. Log on to your account and register the number bothering you.
If they persist after 90 days, You can re list it, isn't perfect, but it does provide significant relief.
For example: Verizon's program avail for its subscribers is called "Verizon Safeguards".- Caller: Unknown Credit card solicitor
- Call type: Telemarketer
- ThomasTim's suggestion above is a good one,
I'm a law enforcement official, specializing in fraud.
Realize the big picture, the calls may generate 100 angry blogs, but remember what PT Barnum (Circus entrepreneur) allegedly said years ago, "there's a sucker born every minute".- Caller: Credit card Solict.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- JeanI wish there would be some way to identify the true originator of these calls to put an end to there antics. They are wasting our time and resources.
