I too have received multiple calls from this number.  The first few times it was the 'lower your credit card interest rate' on ALL my cards.  Seriously, there can't be anyone that stupid, as to provide a random caller with your personal info.  The last 3x this number has called my cell, it has been supposedly for 'the do not call registry'.  When I called it back, it wanted me to enter my cell# to get on the registry.  Yup, I'm already on it, like the others who mentioned it below.  I am sure the scam will then take your phone number to rack up charges on international calls or some other crazy scheme.  I am going to my cell provider and block the number from calling me.

Thank you for this tip. Wondering if you have Verizon as your cell phone carrier? We have gotten far more of these telemarketing calls since we signed a contract with Verizon.

I will take your advise about how to avoid them.

I do have verizon, but phone calls started at home almost a month before they called my cell. FTC seem to think it might be a leak from the VA. And I was in the army. They also thought it was a drop phone, but the number is still in use. I hope these [***] get caught, but the FTC seemed to be unable to do much or not willing

The problem with this is they are calling through Google Voice so we will never track them or stop them...... sucks!!!

I got this call too, but a tip I got from another Droid phone owner was to input the offending number as a contact (I labeled them Spam Scam) and then use the option to set all calls from that number to got straight into voicemail without ringing my phone. Two can play at their little games! Hope this helps someone else with a Droid phone.

I have had these calls repeatedly, sometimes one right after the other at home, but never knew the number because I do not have caller ID.  This time it rang on my husbands cell, so I "googled" the number to see if it brought up a web site.  BINGO!  Found lots of folks get this annoying call.  This sure is a scam and wish it would stop.

That may make you feel better, but it doesn't help.  The FCC no longer investigates, enforces the law, or prosecutes telemarketers.  That's why there are now so many of them openly flaunting the Do Not Call registry.  They don't ever have to worry about being held accountable.

I keep getting calls from this number.  When I answer, no one speaks.

I do not want to be called by this recorded message service again!  Pressing "1" to speak to a live operator and then requesting not to be called again only leads to the operator to hang up.

I keep getting calls from this number, which I answer only to get a dialtone.  When I do not answer no message is left.
Lately there has been many calls from other numbers warning of last notice....and the ploy is to have your credit cards transfered to lower interest companies.
There must be a way to report these abuses which could be identity theft rings...

Keep getting calls from the # on my cell.  I'm on do not call list.  STOP CALLING ME.

This is an unknown number, so I didn't answer the call.  From what I've read, this is a company offering to "lower my interest rates."  Since I don't pay any interest, this is definitely an unwanted caller and an invasion to my privacy.  Why doesn't the National Do Not Call registry get these people?

Same complaints as above with same results from being on 'do not call list'.  What's the point when these idiots still manage to get your info?

I have been getting the call "This is an important message about your credit card account" for over a year.  My credit card company denies any association with this.  When the recorded message starts, I hang up.  It is just 11 AM and I have received this message twice on my home phone this morning even though I am on the Do Not Call registry.

Got a missed call from this number, no message.

They called today and after I answered, there was silence, and then finally a disconnect. I called the number back, and got an automated message about the number being disconnected and not in service... belonging to Pacific Telecommunications Group.
