I received a call on at 9:15 AM on 10/20/08. Introduced myself and the company; a man at the other end start talking fast and he said he wants to speak to the owner. I asked him very politely: Sir, I didn't catch your name please repeat it. He said I said it, you didn't get it. I said exactly would you be kind enough to give me your name. He raised his voice said: "Woman, I gave it to you, just give me the owner." I said sir the owner is not in the office. Had he been I still needed your name. He started bad mouthing me and I said sorry I have to hang up, and I did. This game played 3 time and his yelling and bad mouthing increased as well.  the 4th time he called a co-worker answered and He said: his name is Glen Fonrmaux, he is a civil investigator from C2C and the owner should call him back at:(504) 610-6812 and gave a case number.
I am announcing the next time if this man or any person from this organization calls if behave even close to being rude, I would call the police for harassment.

Glen Fromeaux called and left a number of 504 468 9582.  Said he was a civil investigator and calling in behalf of Steve McNamara of US Impact.  He claimed he was starting an investigation and was looking for more information in regards to my business.  Starting the investigation in the morning.  These guys are going about this illegally and my lawyer has his information.

I got a call from someone telling me he is a civil investigator.  Some collection company.  I just called them and told them that I'm filing Chapter 7, have no assets and to sue me.  Big deal.  This is only a scare tactic.  He claimed I could call Bob Balace at CRG at 800 480 4776.  I laugh these guys off.

The above "Justin" is so full of hogwash that I had to respond.  He must work for C2C.  They are a bunch of scam artists who will say anything and come up with any story to either collect a debt which may or may not be real and/or con people out of money.  Do NOT pay them just because they say to.  If you get a call from these people, record it.  I HIGHLY doubt the person who calls is a real P.I.  Getting a call like all that from someone claiming to be a P.I. is at best unethical and more than liikely illegal. Record him/them/her.  Recording devices are cheap enough - and many states allow recording without the other party's permission - interstate calls fall under federal law which also allows recording. Also, DO NOT volunteer any information to them. Make them put anything they say in writing, and watch - they will refuse to do so.  THAT should tell you something right there. They are one of the most unethical bunch of liars I have ever had the displeasure of having to deal with.  For a $400 debt, which I was already paying off, they tried to extort almost $3,000 from me.  If enough of us document their BS and tell the state Attorney Generals about them, "Justin", then maybe they will either start being professionals or they will go out of business.  In the meantime, "Justin" how about doing some soul-searching and see if you can muster up some ethics. Oh wait, you'll probably need to go to dictionary.com to find out what that is.

We received this same call at work. Glen Fourmaux claimed to be a civil investigator. He gave the no. 504-610-6812. Claimes he was conducting a financial investiagation for c2c resources and stated Jeff Shapiro sent the complaint- also gave a case #. SCAMMER

This is a 2 bit collection agency that buys old debt.

Got a call this afternoon from Glen Fourmaux. He wanted to talk to the owner who was not available. He said he was a "civil investigator" and tried to pump me for information about our company. He gave a case number and the name Annie Hunt at C2C Resources and said he was starting a financial investigation "in the morning". Annie Hunt's number is 866-955-1755 ext 327. When I pressed Mr. Fourmaux for any information, he said to call this Annie person. After reading all the comments at this sight, I can't wait for him to call back.

Glenn Formo called from (504) 610-6812, which is an answering service. His voicemail said to call David Alster at C2C at (866) 955-1755 x338 and Formo left a case number. Suggestion: Anyone that has been called should contact the Better Business Bureau and report this person.

I recvd the same call from 504) 610-6812- I thought it was a scam and then a Kayleen Ruby kept calling. I had that it was a scam until I just recvd court papers three days ago - for a judgement plus $5328.00 in collection and attorney fees.I called the couret house and it was legit. They said that I will have to pay for an attorney to refile -- I should have just paid. Now it is going to cost another 1500.00 to get an attorney and thew attorney said that i will just end having to pay anyway.

Barry Mazor has been calling from C2C, Glen Fourmaux also called, said he was a civil investigator.  Barry Mazor calls everyday and threatens to ruin our credit in the community, asks me why my boss doesn't pay our bills.  I've told him everytime he's called that I don't know anything about it, yet he continues to ask me questions about my boss and what i know.  He's a dick.  His number is 866-955-1755 ext 307.

C2C resources is in clear violation eo the Louisians Collection Agency Regulation Act and should be subject to license discipline or revocation.These complaints should be directed to:Office of Financial Institutions, P.O. Box94095 ,Baton Rouge LA 70804-9095.(Fax 866 341 4144 or 225 925 4524.

I have read all of the comments left: Glen Fourmanx is a licensed PI - and is hired to conduct a Financial Investigation to assist in the collection process. This is not a scam nor meant to harrass anyone. It really upsets me to see the complaints and comments left about this being a scam. We represent clients that has provided a service or products and have not been paid for it. The Only scam is my client NOT being compensated for their product or service. I have 17 years of Collections-Mediation & Mitigation under my belt - and KNOW - that the comments your reading - are from companies that don't pay their bills or refuse to work thru their disputed issues. I work with every case fairly trying to create a WIN WIN for both you and my client- So, take this website with a grain of salt - These comments are from defensive individuals complaining about having to deal with invoices they have put off for a very long time. C2C Resources, LLC is a licensed and bonded established company that I am PROUD to work for.

I received a call and was given information to call C2C Resources.  I am glad I did, I had an outstanding debt for over $3,000.00 that I had put off.  I would had to have paid additional fees if not being notified of actions pending.

i too, like everyone else above received pretty much the same phone call with the same verbage. it is not hard to figure out they are trying to use the word "investigation" as a scare tactic. the addition of the "client" they are representing only adds to the illusion. as an business owner knows the only investigation they would have to fear is a criminal one.  so by anyone telling you they are going to come interview employees, take pictures etc. this is a complete fantasy. if it is a legitimate civil case, have them forward the complaint to your attorney and let your attorney handle it. case closed

The last comment was written by a C2C employee. Collection agencies are used to collect debts that are too small for lawyers to handle. Have a good laugh next time these turkeys call and hang up knowing that there is nothing of consequence that they can do to you.

the agency in mandeville, la a mr steve mcnemar is clearly no staying in the lines of legal collection laws.  as they make claims of investigation and credit reporting.  I HAVE REPEATEDLY WATCH MY CREDIT REPORT BOTH BUS AND PERSONAL....NOTHING...THIS GUYS SEND OUT LETTER AFTER LETTER OF CLAIMS OF LEGAL ACTION....STILL WAITING NOW 3 YRS BECAUSE I HAVE A DISPUTE WHICH HAS NOT BE HONORED AS REQUIRED BY LAW  ONCE SENT IN WRITING....THE CLIENT IS EQUIPTMENT RENTAL COMPANY ...LARGE COMPANY NATION WIDE THAT SEEMS TO LIKE THESE TYPE OF COLLECTIONS.   GUESS WE SHOULD REMEMBER YOU ARE KNOWN BY THE COMPANY YOU KEEP.  I AM NOW GOING TO TURN THE TIDES AND TAKE ACTION NOT ONLY AT THE AGENCY BUT AT THE CREDITOR THAT HAS SET ME UP FOR THIS REPEATED LETTERS AND CALLS ON A DISPUTE DEBT BECAUSE OF SOME FRAUD AGAINST ME...I WILL KEEP EVERYONE POSTED...BIG NOTE TO CUSTOMERS OF US IMPACT....GET A DIFFERENT AGENCY....YOU WILL HAVE BETTER RESULTS

I got two calls from a twerp who works for Kayleen. I was adamant that I would never send a cent and hung on him after he started ranting. They never called back. Not an impressive effort. I won't be hiring these idiots to help with my collection problems.

This is the deal... guys like this use tactics to try and scare you into believing that they have access to your personal data. That's not how the court system works. If you owe money you will either pay it or make payments. If that's not good enough for the company you owe money to they will attempt to use a collection agency. If that doesn't work then they can take you to small claims or district court. That's where it get's tough. You have to be sued in the state you live in in order for the plaintiff to collect the money otherwise it's a major pain in the ass. Next time one of these guys call applaud him/her for such a good tactic and then tell them to blow it out their ass.

We responded to a letter from Annie Hunt.  She wrote us under the guise of negotiating a debt.  In good faith, we contacted her in an attempt to settle amicably.  The debt she was attempting to collect is incorrect and in dispute. She insulted me and my family and we will be more than glad to resolve this matter in court.
