- Ben| 4 repliesGot a call today about equipment return for Comcast. Thought it was a scam at first before I realized that they weren;t asking for any crazy information, then realized I had an old cable box that Comcast never collected.
I spoke to a supervisor at OnProcess and they explained in detail what they did, she was very nice. They work with all cable/wireless/computer companies and assist in asset retreival with information provided by the cable/wireless/computer company themselves.
It ended up beig a good thing they called, it could've turned into a huge mess. If more people would shut up and relax, they might just let this company help them out, they aren't a collection agency, they never ask for social or credit card numbers, etc.
Before dumb people think something is a "scam", maybe you should stop and think what the heck the end result would even be. Or you could just look at their website. They try to help clear up the situations that people create when they forget to return equipment, or THEY try to scam the companies.- Caller: Comcast

We call on behalf of a lot of companies such as Life Line, Comcast, Verizon, Asurion and a multitude of others. We call the numbers that are contracted out to us.

- AlexMy sister received a phone call from 508-623-2299, claiming to facilitate a return of a blackberry phone to AT&T. She asked why AT&T did not call, they had no answer. My sister is on my AT&T account, she told them that and they asked for my phone #. They claimed to have called me first but could not verify the phone #.

- D MurrayI received several calls from this company. I believe it was for a return of Verizon equipment even though it was not due for 30 days and it was not overdue. Resent them calling when they had no reason to. Very annoying when it is a call while you are at work!!

I had just moved out of my house and given a 30 day window to return my equipment from Verizon and they were calling within a few days - hello, 30 days is 30 days especially when you are in the middle of a move. They don't wait to see if it is late just a pesty call when it is not needed.

- LuberLeft message stating i needed to return a phone... I use Sprint wireless and got a phone shipped to me from their insurance department. I have yet to send the phone back.

It said it would "find my records based on the number I called from" (which was the same one they called), and the robot told me there was no account and to manually input the number of the phone attached to my account. I entered my number (the same one), and this time they told me there were MULTIPLE records, and they needed my primary mobile number to "help find my account." That's BS--I hung up.
- FNKThis is a legitimate phone number of a company which does equipment retrieval services for various big companies. I usually receive the call regarding Cisco equipment that I receive as replacement of faulty equipment. I would not be very worried about this number.

- Jay| 1 replyThey called my house saying it was Jeff calling on behalf of the hospital i was in last week. Wasnt sure why they were calling me so i said i wasnt home. He said he would call back later.
I called the main number to the hospital and gave them the number and his name she asked me if he gave a last name or department(he didnt) she said he has nothing to do with the hospital. Why would he be calling?- Caller: 508 623 2299
- NYC 10/26Got a call from this number 508-623-2299, they left no message, and when I called them back, they had some bs recording asking me to leave some information. I didn't leave any information, these people are scammers!

- OPT Employee replies to JayOne of our programs at OnProcess is to call patients after their release from certain hospitals (South Shore, Milton, 1 in PA, etc). We do a quick survey about your experience and give any necessary reminders (when to take medication, etc) and ensure you had a positive experience checking out. The goal is to help the hospitals reduce unnecessary readmission, which can be costly to the hospital/insurance providers.
- Tired replies to JoanHA! WHat a horrible and stupid attitude to have! Tell the thousands of customers that end up forgetting to return their equipment and have to deal with charges/collections that it is a pesky/useless calls! The world isn't about you idiot! There are PLENTY of people who are very thankful for the reminders, and many companies who save money for the service... and oh yeah saving money helps prevent YOUR costs from going up. I hate stupid people.
