this moron calls everday morning at 8:15 i have no clue it it is but it didnt start until i changed to comcast.

I assure you the call you received is not a scam. You can find more out about OnProcess Technology if you reference their website. They work on behalf on Comcast Corporation assisting customers in the return of defective Cable Equipment. If you find that you have been called in error, simply contact them back, reference the name or number they called you at and the problem can be recitified immediately. A simple misunderstanding no doubt.

You are mistaken. 100% mistaken. It is not telemarketing, cash collections, billing, or anything of the sort. Rent a Center? Really? poke around a bit before running your whole. Use the internet. Onprocess is nothing like that... They are there to help people by the judging. Sit up and pay attention in class next time. Clearly you've trouble reading...

I missed the call from this number and was a left a voicemail which stated that my Comcast service had been recently cancelled and I needed to return my equipment.  It stated if I believed I received the call in error to then call 1-800-869-7808, which I did but after being prompted to enter both my home phone number (which is unlisted) and my cell phone number it said the account could not be found and the call was disconnected!  I called Comcast directly who stated that they had no idea who had called me but that it was certainly not on their behalf.  I pay for an unlisted phone number and I am also on the do not call registry and I am sick and tired of these scam calls!!

It was Asurian (Sprint insurance company). I got a replacement phone and have not switched over to it yet.  I either need to switch or send it back.  I've been busy.  WTF!

Called , said nothing, left no message

I received the following message to my cell phone from 508-623-2299
"Hello my name is Candice, I am calling on behalf of Verizon.  Our records indicate that you may have discontinued or transferred your service with Verizon and still have equipment that needs to be returned.  An equipment recovery kit has been mailed to you via UPS.  It is important that you return your equipment within 48 hours to avoid non return fees identified in your service agreement.  If you have already received your recovery kit please follow the instructions provided to return your equipment as soon as possible.  Please feel free to contact us toll free at 866-486-9758 if you have any questions regarding the return of your equipment. We hope you will consider us again for your future entertainment needs. Thank you and have a great day."

I called 800-VERIZON, they had no record of equipment needing to be returned.  They also did not have my cell phone number associated with my FIOS account, or any account associated with that cell phone number.  I called the number that was provided as a callback number and it asked for my phone number, which I provided, and then my account number, which I did not provide.

I received a similar call from a different number a month earlier.

I am filing a complaint with the FTC and I recommend you all do the same

They left two messages threatening to bill be for not returning a defective phone.  They claim they sent me a replacement phone, but it was to the wrong address.  THERE IS NO WAY TO GET TO A HUMAN BEING TO EXPLAIN THE SITUATION

I got a call from this number - it was Asurion making sure I'd sent my old phone back as directed. Not a scam.

This third party stuff should give it up because it sounds like a scam and probably is one.  Verizon said that they dont use third party comjpanies at all.

Comcast delivery of returned equipment.  Equipment had been returned months ago but they keep calling me looking for it....What a pain!

I have received   a message from this company about equip. from  a client a Mr. Jackson. I am wondering why my number has been passed along and it scares me to know that people are using it.

I too have been repeatedly harrassed for almost 2 months from OnProcess re: unreturned Comcast equipment.  I called ComCast and they said they know nothing about this company. I believe it is a scam.

Bogus, bogus, booooooooogus. Asking me to send them my phone because they supposedly sent me one........uh, I don't think so. Throw a couple million robo calls out there and you're bound to hit a few thousand who have changed phones. A legit company would use the mail anyway folks, bogus scams don't because then you're into federal mail fraud territory.

This was a reminder call regarding Verizon FIOS equipment that I am supposed to return. My call was not a scam. The female caller left a toll free number to call back on if I had any questions.
