Received three calls so far and its only 2:00 pm pacific time.  No messages are left on my answering machine.  Thanks to all who contributed their input.  I'll be ignoring these calls as well.

i calld this number twice and i got a message "our office is now close". although i called 11am and 2pm.  this number called me 7 times in 1 day.

Got 14 calls from this number today, and an average of 5 calls/day for the past 2 weeks......

Total balance on the account is $66.14, and a $25 payment last month was missed.

They claim they represent Bloomingdales and Macy's - with a PO Box in Phoenix AZ (PO Box 52146).

This has gotta be a scam.

I receive about 20-30 calls a day from this number. I don't answer afer reading who its from. I made a payment a week ago and am still getting calls. Once this account is paid off I will NEVER use their card again.

This is a Bill Collection Agency working on a commission of whatever they can collect.

Must be a scam.  Just got a call of them trying to collect on an account that had been closed months ago.

I just got a call from them today.  When you call back, it says, "Your call will be monitored for quality assuarance."  I just hung up.  I'm not going to answer them at all.  If it is Macy's they can hit me in my inbox email on their site.

It's Macy's collections.  I told them I would rather call direct to Macy's.  It was real.  I had to straighten out a major issue.  Macy's can jump the gun quite often on nothing.  Boy, if they didn't have nice clothing I would never go there.

Called me twice today, but i did not pick up. I see all the comments about Macy's. It's funny because I just received my bill for Macy's today through email. Literally, about 2 mins after i received the Macy's email, they called me (i didnt pick up). They are definitely in-sync with all Macy's billing system to know when the right time to call. Kind of scary. I've gotten calls from Macy's before and they ALWAYS leave a message saying theyre calling from Macys. This is definitely some kind of scam number. Be careful.

To the above comment from 'Bonnie.' The same thing happened to me today. I also did not pick up. From comments above though, I am not sure whether to believe they are from Macy's or not. But I will call Macy's to find out. Agreeing with 'Gilberta' from comment above, I will never use Macy's credit card again. This is ridiculous.

If this is Macy's calling; I do not have an account with them nor have I ever had an account with them.

I received this call and when I answered there wasn't anyone there.
I called back and I could barely understand the person at the other end.
They said they were calling on behalf of Macy's or Bloomingdale's.
I don't owe anything on Macy's and don't have a Bloomingdales CC.
I don't know why they were calling!

Got a call from this 513-754-9822.  Call to check who was calling since I did not recognized the number.  The recording only has the hours of operation and says to call back.

THE REASON THEY ARE CALL YOU BECAUSE THEY TRIED COLLECT THE DEBT FOR OLD ACCOUNT CAUSE MACY'S CURRENTLY DON'T DO BUSINESS REALLY GOOD AND A LOT STORE NATION WIDE HAS BEEN CLOSE AND IN THE FUTURE.  SO LOOKING IN THE BUSINESS WAY THEY ARE ON THE WAY FOR THE BANKRUPTCY AND YOU WILL SEE IN NEXT YEAR OR FEWS YEAR A LOT OF MACY'S STORE WILL BE CLOSE.  SOME WILL BE IN YOUR AREA...

We have received 200 calls from this number since 12/09/09 to this day plus many calls I've hung up on
and have called the National harassament calls number to report them twice in the United States to quit these calls... .we've answered them, called back, hung up, talked back, held on to the phone, etc.

Once they ( a girl said) , "We are a Health Insurance Co."

An East Indian dialect speaking man answered, and I asked him to quit harassing us and We're reporting you to the U.S. Government!

these calls are devastating,  ringing all the time and I have answered them repeatedly

over 200 since Dec. 9th all times of the day and on the Holidays.... why?   We have no money or anything what do you want?    Senior citizens my God leave us alone!

I read your post and understand your how you feel.  I received few call a day and that very bother you.  Don't report any goverment agency online.  That will not help you nothing.  All you have to do, this is cost little time waiting.  File complaint with your State Attorney first for the Fair Debt Collectin Practice Act. or file complaint with Goverment Agency below:
