Call came from this number at 10 am PST.  I was working and could not answer.  No voicemail message was left for me.  Why call if the call is not important enough to leave a message?

I get that call at least twice a day.  no one there unless I wait and wait and it's a recorded message.  I'm tired of it.  I had a Macys account, it's paid off and I haven't used it in a very long time.

I get daily calls as early as 7:30am and they continue to call 5 - 6 times a day. They leave NO MESSAGES....I called the number back and it goes to a recording saying please stay on the line...etc. etc.
Anyway I finally got to speak to a rep. and they told me they were from Macys & Bloomingdale, they wanted my account number?????? When I said I didn't have an acct. with them...THEY HAD THE NERVE TO ASK FOR MY SS# AND DATE OF BIRTH...
I TOLD them to take my number off their calling list, I was told they could,t and they hung up???????

It really is Macys collections calling.  thing is....my bill is paid.  I did check this out, it is truly their collection company of choice, out of Mason, Ohio.  I've had calls from them every 2 hours, even though I have a zero balance.  I'm ready to file a complaint.

They called me 8 times yesterday. One was as early at 7:45 am and the last one was at 9pm. They called twice in 1 minute! Why don't they just leave a message?

Continuous calls from this number, 6+ per day. I don't have a Macy's card nor owe anyone. This is crap.  Thanks for the www government complaint address.

They called me 3 times in one day.  I researched the number and on the third call I picked up.  He asked for me and I asked about what the call was in regards to.  He said a personal business matter.  I said, "please don't call this number again..."  He argued and I had to repeat myself 4 or 5 times before he gave up.  I didn't recognize the name he gave me (Mr. Bath?)...It has got to be a scam.  Please do not give personal info to them...

Yea, I forgot to make my Macy's payment yesterday.... YESTERDAY!!! And already someone is trying to call me... weird? After reading these comments, I am assuming that is what it is, but 1 day and then a phone call is pretty questionable.

This number been calling me nonstop as well since I have reactivate my macy's account.

It's not a scam, it is Macys. I made a payment and then called the 866 number on the back of my card afterward to make sure it wasn't a scam. They're calling because you're a little over your limit and want their money.

This number keeps call my place of employment; no message left just call and hang up.

Been receiving these calls from OHIO Call,  So I answered and she asked for my wife by name and said "you got the wrong number"  she asked me am I sure and again I said she got the wrong number and she hung up

This is NOT a telemarketing company and they ARE allowed to call you.  So just stop saying things like, "I'm on the DoNotCall list... Blah, blah, blah".  Also, anyone talking about this being a scam, needs to stop.  It is not a scam.

800-545-1256 is the callback number for the collection department at Macy's Department Stores.  Their callers will NOT leave ANY details because they must abide by FEDERAL LAWS regarding collection practices.  They may only discuss the matter with the party holding the past due account, and they will provide that persons name ONLY.

If they are not calling for you, or anyone else in your home that may happen to have the name that they provide, simply take a few minutes to call them back and advise they are calling the wrong number in their attempts to reach that person.  They will happily, pleasantly, and immediately remove your number from their database.  That will be the last contact you have with them.  Problem fixed!!  (Unless upon a future date, you become arrears in payment to a Macy's credit account.)

Please tell me why you ask for personal checking account info then?  Also, why can you not send a copy of the bill when asked?  You won't e-mail it or fax it.  When we tell you we'll pay it the next billing cycle, you yell and rant.  You'll be out of a job soon too considering your business practices.  Before long, you won't be making the calls; you'll be receiving them instead.  Karma's a b*tch, ain't it?

Alright, to dispel some fears. I actually called Macy's credit card company back and asked if FDS bank/(800) 947-6229 were an affiliate of Macy's. They are. They have a policy to call even if you have 1 overdue payment. Just letting you guys know.

If you have caller id block you can automatically block this number from ever calling. I do not have a Macy's card and I never answer any number that I do not know who it it calling me. You should check with your phone carrier to see if you have this feature. I use it a lot. These scam artist will do just about anything to swindle people out of money.

Glad to hear that Bank you noted was affiliated with Macy's but what about 513-754-9822 the number that is the topic of discussion? I do not even have a Macy's card. These people are just scam artists.

You sound like a real idiot. I do not have a Macy's card or any department store cards. I like to pay cash for everything. So why in the hell would they be calling my number. You need to stop thinking that everybody is a deadbeat when they receive unsolicited calls from these people. Grow up dumbass.
