I recieved a call from 513/754-9822. I didn't answer the call because I was at work.  When I returned the call, the person with a foreign accent asked if I had a Macy's account.  I replied, no.  He then hung up the phone.  I called back.  The next person, again with an accent, asked if I had a Macy's account.  Again, I said, no.  He then started asking me personal questions.  After I declined, he kept saying that he was with Macy's.  I am unsure what these folks wanted because I am not that stupid to give up my personal information over the phone.  I have never had a Macy's account and probably will never have an account with them.  Thank God for smart phones and applications.  I have since blocked the phone number.

Its Macy's or the bank that finances them calling you. That is who owns that #. GOOGLE the # or ask them what bank or company they are calling for.

They call daily and there is never anyone there.  I made a double payment at Macy's and they still call.  So I don't think they are Macys.  Once I answered to get a machine asking to hold.  No one will leave a message so I think it is a solicitor.

We get the same calls, both on our home and business number - no message, other than 1) a recording "please stand by..." type and 2) asking for a member of my family. I/we don't answer and we have recording of this activity 2x/day.

I haven't called the number back - but if I can confirm it is Macy's (we don't owe then anything) - our card(s) will be cancelled. There are plenty of folks who like our money - we don't need this behavior.

LOL.. I actually DID wait to see if I could tell someone to *blankety blank* put me on their DO NOT CALL list. After about two minutes, they hung up on me!! Gotta say, I have never been hung up on by a machine before. They call CONSTANTLY, never leave a message, and apparently aren't there when you actually DO answer.

Just got a call from this # on my cell. The caller said it was in regards to my Macy's account that is
" a month & 1/2 past due ". I was surprised b/c I always make my payments on time. She asked if i wanted to make a payment over the phone. I said " no, i ll make a payment on-line ( The only way I always do ). She then, went on to say that payment made on-line was going to take several days before it reflected on the account, and insisted I paid over the phone using a credit card. So, I said no again, and went to check on my account on the Macy's website, and lo and behold my account is not past due; in fact I still have almost a full month left before it's due date.

For those who want to make these calls stop. There is an app called Mr. number, it allows you to block calls from any number you want, and it's free.

It is Macy's. They called 5 times today! (Not a scam as far as I know)

This phone number calls every hour on the hour M-F  they are an answering machine and this is harrassement

This is probably the 5th or 6th time I've seen this number on my Caller ID when I've gotten home from work.  No message is ever left, but whomever it is calls several times a day.  I just received another call not even 5 minutes ago and this time answered--dead silence on the other end.  I said "okay...goodbye" and hung up.  Supposedly it's "Macy's" calling with some sort of scam (or so I've been told).  From here on, I'll continue to ignore it.

I called him back and he answered. He said his name was Jake and he wanted the credit card number. He had an Indian or Pakastani accent.

I received a phone call on Sunday asking for payment (overdue) for my Macy's credit card. I told them that the payment was scheduled with my bank account.
I do not understand why nobody, including Macy's financial office, can do anything about this kind of scam.
I am hesitating if I need to close my account with them.
