This number calls repeatedly.....the DO NOT CALL list does not work.

I received a call from 1-877-900-5000, Amerassist A/R Solutions, Inc.  This is a collecion agency.  he were harassing me attempting to pay for a serice bill I did NOT authorize.  Other phone numbers for this company are , 1-877-691-5331, 614-848-9800, 614-848-3225.  Their web site is http://www.amerassist.com

yep they keep calling me too, I never answered and I will not answer. it is a waste of time for them or their computer or their program.

I got an important phone call yesterday around 4:00 pm, I did not take note of the number thinking it is registed on my cell phone, but the person phoned using 514 877 5000, this is all I can see.  Can I retrace this person?  It is very important!

I've got this number on my caller ID EVERY FIFTEEN MINUTES for the last hour! No messages. It's driving me CRAZY!

why would there be so many different questions (stupid questions), that are asked to different people?

Hi guys, beware, this phone number can still be used by honest people/companies.
I just got a call from this number, I didn't answer and came to this site to check it out, but as it turns out, it was my car dealership who called about an appointment.

Salut, faites attention le numéro peut être utilisé par des personnes/compagnies honnêtes. Je viens d'avoir un appel de ce numéro, je n'ai pas répondu et je suis venu sur ce site pour vérifier. Finalement c'est mon concessionnaire automobile qui m'a appelé à propos d'un rendez-vous.

It's a long distance calling number through Distributel in Quebec. You pay a set rate for long distance per month, call this number and then when you hear the funny tone, proceed to input the 10 digit phone number you are trying to call. It could be a scam because anyone can use it who has Distributel. Turns out for me it's one of my clients calling to ask me a question and uses Distributel as their long distance provider. If you know someone in Quebec, probably a good idea to pick it up just once to make sure.

Somebody is calling you who has a long distance plan with Distributel. If you know somebody from Quebec and they are calling you long distance it is most likely them. You never know, it could be your long lost French aunt who just wants to talk to you....

I block everything that has 800 or 877 in a number. I dont care if i loose some calls having those number.
You can get an application on your cell for that purpose (a call blocker).

I block also unknown and private number.
