Alright folks, this is a bit extensive, but here's what you can do to stop these obnoxious con artists at 517-679-0754, that call themselves, "Insight Teleservices, Inc"

First, here's the problem. These hucksters operate under a fine line that "Legally" allows them to make unwanted calls to your home or business anytime they feel like it. Why? Because they claim they are a "Charity" and therefore you can NOT put these dirty rats on a National Do Not Call List! By the way, these "People" at "Insight Teleservices, Inc" are a fraud! They claim they ask for donations for "Children and Vets." Bold-face LIES! They're slime-ball con artists!

Here's what you need to do, and it will not take that much of your time:

First, know the definition of the word "Harass."

(1) : to annoy persistently (Like this "Insight Teleservices, Inc" does to our family by calling every single day! ) (2) : to create an unpleasant or hostile situation for especially by uninvited and unwelcome verbal or physical conduct (I can assure you that this creates an unplesant, uninvited, and unwelcome situation for our family, especially when most of the time these dirty rats won't even answer the phone! Also, these con artists claim you can just "Press 1, then press in your telephone number" to be removed from their harassment calls! Once again, NOT TRUE, they call anyhow, and all you've done by entering in your phone number is letting them know they have a verified sucker!

Last, you must call the Police Department in whatever city, or town you live. You need to ask the police in your area how to make an official "Harassment" complaint against these dirty rats!

Don't let the Area Code 248 fool you! This is where these con artists at "Insight Teleservices, Inc"
operate out of, and they use the Area Code 517 to try and trick you up.
JUST REMEMBER: THEY ARE CON ARTISTS, AND THAT'S HOW CON ARTISTS OPERATE!

Bottom line:
Call the police in your city or town! Know that it's your right to file an official harassment complaint!
The police are there to protect and serve. Be polite to the officer, but also be persistent that you want
to follow through with an official complaint.

The caller claimed to be from Children's wish network.  She hung up when I asked what part of the donations went to charity.

These folks are ruthless.  They have called 4 or 5 times this week alone and have been asked not to call back.  One "gentleman" yelled at me when I asked to be taken off the list.  I plan on a full out assault on these folks.  It is unfortunate they represent themselves as raising money for disabled veterans.  When I called the number back they identify themselves as Insight Teleservices. Argh.

Answered this call, spoke with the rep, whom spit and sputtered his name as William Smith. I'm sure that was not his real name.He asked for a minute of my time, and I said, you won't get a second of my time. LOSE THIS PHONE NUMBER NOW!!! He said thank you and hung up. So I called the number back, and pressed one, to have the number removed, from their list. We'll see! I got a call yesterday, at about the same time, from 810-835-4028. They hung up when answered. Called it, and it was the same company. Pressed one to have it removed, then they called back today with a different number. Company both times was Insite Teleservices. Supposed to be for Non-Profit, so No-call lists doesn't apply. But it is bordering on harrassment. One more call from them, I will report them to the FCC.
Last company I reported to the FCC, never called again. Plus, the FCC will send a letter to you, for your records. Every one, contact the FCC!!! They are not a Non-Profit, but are telemarketing for a "Client"Non-Profit, "MAYBE"! If not the actual Non-Profit, but a surrogate, or a go between, then they are Telemarketing.

I didn't see any recent notes on this number. I have reported them to the donotcall.gov site, but they have started calling again. They have been calling 3 to 5 times a day and when we answer, it seems to be an automated system.

when bored try to keep them on line as long as possible,if you have free long distance call ack and tie up there lines,pay back isn't nice but can make you feal empowed.P.S. remember the person calling may need food for their household and not like calling to beg for a company ligit or not.

Children's Leukemia Association looking for donation

I've had them call on behalf of some supposed cancer charity or other a few months ago.  Now, today, again.  Plonk, blocked.

The text below is from another note on this board and it is a lie. The percentage is reversed, this company takes 85% and the charity gets 15%. Since they want to lie to donors we suggest that you call your State AG and SOS as well as your local police Sheriff and local media. You can find out more information at this site I found on the net. http://www.pfcl.org/ and you can and should always check with sites like charitynavigator.org or charitywatch.org before donating to any group that calls you on the phone and you should never give your credit card info over the phone.


"the caller  was calling for the paralyzed vets of Wisconsin from their location at West Allis WI and was looking for pledges starting with $15.00.  She said 80% of the money went to the "vets" and the other 20% for expenses, they would send a pledge notice but this would have to be okayed by a verifier.  After about 2 minutes the verifier came on line and sounded more like an enforcer of a plan.  So I hung up. Checked online and 517 is a Michigan area code."

Constant calls & hangups day and night. Think they are trying to contact my wife who used to
handled the charity stuff . They hang up when I answer.

I asked my state's AG to see what I could do.  I will file a complaint form and see where it goes.  Liekly will take months.  The caling firm does not honor the request to be removed from their lists.  I was adament about being taken off, and I get the attitude from the caller, "Well, I wil call back at another time when you want to talk."  Hey, buddie, that would be never!  Why is that not fraud?  Or harassment?

These calls are from Insight Teleservices calling on behalf of an unknown non-profit charity.  That is how they can get around the government's do not call list.  However, if you can actually speak to a real person (instead of getting multiple calls and hang-ups), you can request that they put you on their own do not call list.  Mark down the day/time of this request and the person you spoke with so that you can report them to the FTC when they call again.  

Because all we have been getting are hang-ups, I called Insight's corporate office in Southfield, Michigan -- 1-248-552-8866 -- and a very polite young woman said that it is not corporate policy to call and hang up on people.  The reason that it may be happening is that the calls are computer-generated and the operators may inadvertently disconnect even before they hear me say hello.

In any event, she took down my phone number and said she would e-mail the proper people to have me added to their do not call list.  I am very hopeful that this will stop these annoying hang-up calls.

have gotten 5 calls from these jerks in the past 3 days. 3x i have answered and told a live person to never call again. they id'd themselves as raising money for disabled children. they've called from 2 different ph #s, the 517-679-0754 and 810-835-4028. also told them i am reporting this call. how does harassing people serve their purpose? the more annoying the more money they raise? it makes no sense. i've reported these calls to the FCC. take them DOWN.

This bunch of scumbags is just another of the many reasons to have wireline phones removed from you home. The wired phone companies could stop this but they are choosing to go broke instead. Number of wired phone lines in this state has dropped by 50% in the last 10 tears.

These people call daily.I tried to get our phone number out of their system,it does not work. We had 3 calls today, THIS IS SUNDAY.

I get called daily, sometimes more than once, often when I answer the phone, they hang up and do not speak to me at all.  On Sunday someone coughed loudly in the phone and I asked why they coughed and he said it wasn't a cough, he was laughing.  

I called corprate today after I got a call before noon, she said she was putting me on the do not call list, and the automated service they have is broken and does not work. 6 hours later I got another call.

I hate them with a fierce hot passion.
