I  received call from  this number and no one answered. Have gotten other calls from 517, 810 and 313 area codes. I have not answered at times. WhenI call back they indicate they are from Inside Services soliciting for non profit organizations(exempted from do not call list). I wish they would keep off my phone. They continue to  call in spite of me requesting that my number be removed from their calling list.

Thanks, I heard there was some computer geek if he got calls like this would hack their system and erase all their files.  Not me, but don't you just wish...

They call every day and we never answer the phone.

Got a call from this number today. I answered because I know people in the 517 area. When I said hello, there was that dead silence that indicates it was computer dialed. So I hung up and I will put this number on my "selective call forwarding" list. I forward these calls - DO NOT CALL list does not apply to "charitable" orgs - to a particularly nasty and aggressive telemarketing agency that used to aggravate me no end.  I just LOVE the selective call forwarding option of my phone service! Let the jerks all talk to each other. Bwahahahaha!

Just do what I do, block their number and after a while they figure it out and stop calling. I've rotated several numbers through my block calling feature. Works great!!

I got a call this evening from this number, they identified themselves as the
Disabled Veterans of America charity.   They wanted me to send a check for $150.00
to them.  I said I would not do it.  In the past, I have sent a minimal amount of money
to this organization ($3.00 to $5.00) because they would sent me beautiful return
address labels, and ask for a donation. This request came through the mail with the labels, and not by
phone solicitation.  Tonight when I told the male caller that was all I had sent in the past,
he called me a cheap f*cking b*stard, laughed, and hung up on me. What the heck was this
all about. I returned the call, and a prerecorded message said that this number was available
for charity use, and did not come under the "do not call" listing!  This was terrible saying that
they represented this noble charity.   I am sorry, but they will never get another donation
from me.

It DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU ARE THE DNC LIST!!! THEY STILL CALL!!  LUCKY YOU IF THE DNC IS WORKING FOR YOU!!!!

How about a harassment law suit? ( I apologize if this has been mentioned before, I have not read all the posts entirely.)

This "Spoofed" number, fake name and many other numbers are being used by "Debt Collectors." Prime examples are: CRSI out of California, Complete Credit Solutions out of Texas and Progressive Financial Services out of Tennessee.  They are attempting to gather information to create an account with someone by getting a credit card number or account number.  These particular places have already drained many peoples bank accounts.

The caller is INSIGHT TELEMARKETERS.  They solicit for high end charities and keep a chunk of the money. They are not covered by the No Call List.

I just received a call from (517) 679-0754. The person asked if I would contribute to the Breast Cancer Association.  I said no, and started to give an explanation and to ask a question about the organization - and the telemarketer suddenly hung up.  I thought that odd for a national non-profit.  I called back and the line was busy.  I called again and received a automatic message saying the number belongs to "Insight Teleservices," which provides telemarketing services for non-profits.  And the message informed me that according to federal law charitable and political calls are exempt from the do-not-call list.

I figure I will send a message to the Breast Cancer Association that Insight Teleservices is a crappy contractor.

Got two calls from this number both times when I picked up I got a dial tone.

This caller kept calling and Hanging up on me when I asked what the call was about..

About exemption for those calling "on behalf of a charity"... this is straight from the do not call website:

Are calls from political organizations or calls soliciting for charities covered?
Political solicitations are not covered by the TSR at all, since they are not included in its definition of “telemarketing.” Charities are not covered by the requirements of the national registry. However, if a third-party telemarketer is calling on behalf of a charity, a consumer may ask not to receive any more calls from, or on behalf of, that specific charity. If a third-party telemarketer calls again on behalf of that charity, the telemarketer may be subject to a fine of up to $16,000 .

So maybe remind them about that last sentence - see if you can get a person's name first, then make note of the date/time/name of the person you told to remove you from the list.  Then if they call again you can tell them that you'll be reporting it to the FCC.  Hope it helps!

This and another MI number (248) area code call twice a day and I am very annoyed.  I've not picked up yet, but might, with this info.

I am very familiar with this company and what they do. They are located in southfield michigan on telegraph rd. They raise money for several different fake charities that were made up within the past few months. Disabled and paralyzed veterans fund, terminally ill children, breast cancer association, childrens leukemia of america foundation and a few other fake charities that sound very similar to legitimate organizations. The owners names are Paul Marinelli and Ben Scott. Their phone number is 248-552-8866. The company is simply a scam, and they do not care if you are upset. Constantly being called by a variety of different bogus numbers claiming to be the Disabled Veterans of America or other BS charities. We're on a no call list and have repeatedly been harassed by callers claiming to be from charitable foundations. We constantly tell the caller to take us off their list. They just keep calling. I have contatced the police and am keeping notes daily. A lawyer will help.

Getting calls from this # too. Called back & they just answered but said nothing.

  You should call them several times a day and keep them on the phone as long as possible. They waste your time now lets waste their time. Ask about the services they offer and just keep asking questions about services or a job.
  If they keep calling you you can always take the number they called from and this info to your local police department and make a formal harassment complaint against them. They clam to be a non-profit so they are exempt from the National Do Not Call List but harassment is harassment. If you have told them not to call you more than once that's all that's needed.
 They also use several numbers and claim to be from several organizations.
