I must have gotten 5 calls from this # claiming that they are with Account Services. I have told them EVERY time to remove me from their list. I just told them i was going to report them and they hung up on me!!!   This has got to stop!!!

Just got new phone number and started receiving calls from this number.  No messages left or anyone on line.  Real aggravating.

They have been calling me for months now about lowering the interest rate on credit cards I have NEVER owned! I was scared thinking someone took one out in my name so I tried to talk to the guy. He couldnt tell me what company the alleged card was through and when I asked how he got my number, he hung up in my face.

P.S. You cant call back, its an automated "fucc you" type message

I received a call from tele 517-931-2043 but they did not leave a message. I called several times untill someone ansered. They told me that they are the debit card company for unemployment benefits for Chase Bank and they are in Louisiana, They asked me for my card number and name and to me it sound like a scam. I told them you are a scam and that I will call chase myself and they then gave me the chase unemployment benefits numebr which I do recongnized and I called chase immediatley. Chase said it sounds very much like a scam and that I must monitor my account very closely. I gave chase the number to check into.

9/18/10  Received a call at 10:00 am. No message either.  My phone is already registered with the do not call list.  The call originates from Missouri.

They just called me, they call me once a month. Who the hell is it.

Received a call from 517-931-2043, recording states I have credit card and states they would lower my rates. I do not have any credit cards. I pressed #1 to talk to a person, woman asked if I was calling to lower my rates. I said "No, I'm calling b/c I don't have any credit cards" and the woman hung up on me.

if you call it back, the call wont go back. its like they dont want people to know who they are. probabaly trying to get our information. weird...i just never answer calls from weird unknown numbers like that.

The number these scammers are using is likely out of service.  Unfortunately they are free to send bogus caller ID information into the network which displays on your phone, because there is no legal mandate to prevent CLID spoofing.

As someone who worked in the wireline Telco industry for 30 years, I know that making every commercial user send information traceable to them would be trivial to implement.  Failing that, every telco/network voice provider could be compelled to default the telemarketer's Caller ID information to their billing telephone number; something the telemarketer cannot game or suppress.

The only way to make this a reality is DEMMAND IT from your elected representative.

I just received a call from this number.  There was a prerecorded message that I could lower my interest rate if i pushed 1 to speak with an agent.  I pushed 1 and told the agent i don't have a credit card and was wondering why they are calling me.  They hung up.  they said the company name was Credit Card Services.
