Ok I received the same phone calls . A man of Indian decent says that I owe the company money for a cash advance that I know I didn't take out . The company is the Beareau of Criminal investigation. Scam I know it. Anyone who has a delinquent account will be contacted by a collection agency not something like this. Scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow I was scared for a minute but I got a voicemail call from a man with a heavy indian accent from +17072784083 ext 207. Saying he was from the BCI and legal action was opened in my name and social and I needed to call or have my attorney call back asap wtf people get a life geez I'm not worried my credit is [***] right now but I feel for the people who fall for these scams I just hope they investigate before giving money or more personal information sooo be aware people.

online payday loans sell your info off , and then you get phone calls saying you owe and you better pay or you will get arrested , tell the person come on down , guess what no one shows , let them know that you know they are scammers , and the harrasment wil stop .

I received several of the same messages from Austin White, and Ben Matthews and it was clear from their speech neither of these men were of American decent. Let me first clear your mind, it is a debt. They cannot arrest you for that. They can go thru the collection process as required by law that is it. You must notify your local phone company of these calls, threats and provide them with names, dates and times and from what number you received these calls. You should also call your local police and report someone is attempting to blackmail you and has threatened you bodily harm. Do not call 911, call the local non-urgent line. I hope this helps.

I have been getting a similar call from a "Randel Smith or John Smith and sometimes it is a Daryl Smith, all with very heavy foreign accents so bad I have to listen to my voice mail over and over to fully understand what he is saying, Whoever this person is, got tired of calling me and started calling my daughter and threatening here then all of a sudden $265 was debited out of her bank account. She had to go to the bank and do a stop payment file a fraud complaint and the bank did their little investigation and got her the money back. Now the guy is calling us again and he has all my information, name, social,address, DOB work information and stated that he is going to take legal action againt me in my state if I do not contact him to resolve the issue,

What can I do to stop this frauding non american person from harrassing me 24/7

This same company has called our place of business, but used the telephone numbers 818-538-9561 and 347-927-8214.  I have reported them to the FTC and told them so.

THIS IS A SCAM!!!! I work for a state agency and we get calls from Bob Martin with Crime Investigations.  He does not understand he is calling a State Agency! He gets very upset and threatening.  I read on another site that this company gets your information when you apply for a payday loan!!!

I received a call at my job in March or April in rgards to this same scam and I asked them to send me the court information in the mail. I still have not got the court documents, but just today I received another call on my cell phone about 5x saying I have comitted some tye of federal fraud with USA Cash Advance Loan. I have reported them to BBB.org. I also looked up the address given to me and it belonged toa a yogurt shop in CA.

I got a call from an unknown number, the guy did not even sound American but his name was Sam Johnson at 512-600-0868. He too had my social security and all my information. I would hang up on him and he would call right back over and over again. He told me or too have my attorney call him and the issue is very time sensitive. What the hell should I do?

these same people are now using the phone number 707-673-9481.  Must be switching numbers because it is getting too hot with the 518 number.  Only for my daughter, they ask for a person by a name that has never had her phone number (checked with our phone carrier).  same threats, same "bureau of criminal/crime investigations."  Have talked to the police and the FBI.... they know about this scam and are working on tracking them down.  It's being handled by the Federal Trade Commission for the investigation, according to the FBI.

This moron called me last week and said he was calling from the same place; he called my job today!

I said to him last week, when he called my cell, that he could not possibly be legit simply because he sounded so foreign and could literally barely  be understood because his accent was so thick. Not to say that a person of foreign decent cannot be an  investigator, but I would think that if he really is who he claims to be, the investigation bureau would have taught him some type of 24/Alias training and gotten him to speak a little more coherently!!!  

I looked this crap up and there is no such bureau.  I received the call last week and this was about a week and a half after I tried to obtain a personal loan online.  These online loan people are just fishing scams; they say they will help you and then direct you 'umpteen' times to fill out applications with the same info (name/social/phone number/job number/etc) in order to keep sending you offers by email and by phone-I received a lot of calls about school offers, car loans-stuff I didn't even originally request.  I thank God that I ended up not even needing to accept an online loan.  

You have go to really pay attention to what info is out there about you once you apply/buy/pay a bill/ or whatever online!!!!!

got a different number for you here. 215-933-3602.  Caller ID.  4or 5th call.  Threatening arrest but finally got company they claim to represent CashAdvance with whom I have never had an account.

I am experienceing the same things you guys have or are currently experiencing. It just started today but this is the number they are using. 510-473-4958. They called my job and my cell phone. I figured out immediately that it was a scam and as soon as I arrived hom, contacted my loacal attorney generals office. Im going to fill my boss in on what's going on asn tomorrow get with the cops to find out what I need to do to stop these people.

You should report whatever info you have the the Federal trade commision and your local attorney general's office. They are investigating this.

Tell themyou have called the F.B.I. in the Columbus Ohio area and they are investigating them. If they call you again you will bring the Full power of the Military and Us Government because they are a Fraud and you owe them nothing.

Yes, I Did apply online for a "payday loan". I'd done this in the past, recv'd them, paid back and had NO Probs... NOT This Time!!! First, I had to work with my bank because instead of receiving money, money was being TAKEN! My bank helped me get my money back, filed fraud investigation of their own and the company taking my money(which I didn't have or I wouldn't have needed a loan in the 1st place, so I was getting charged every other day with overdraft fees because "they" were trying to take money out til they got it, but my bank made that situation right but the acct had to be closed and reopen a new one starting ALL over again) so I'm getting these calls from these "Officers" w/thee same threats from CashAdvanceUSA saying they put $300 in my acct & I have to pay it back. Well my bank also called me to ask if I was familiar with... CashAdvanceUSA because that is who had wrecked my bank acct saying they had an electronic check w/my approval to withdraw a whole lot more than the $300 I was asking a loan for. I'm now working on figuring out my next course of action & whether or not I may have some lawsuit against them. Oh! And the man I'm dealing with calls himself "Officer Gary Cooper" of the NY BCI & that my local police will be arresting me tonite on their charges. I HOPE the police come so I can show ALL they're doing to me. I can prove I NEVER recv'd ANY $$$ but surely had CashAdvanceUSA try to take mine then THREATEN & HARASS ME FOR STOPPING THEM!!!! Yes!!! I am getting calls DAILY from "Officer Robert Martin With The Dept Of Financial Investigation Fraud Dept". After our first conversation, which did not go well, I let all the calls go into voicemail and keep his msgs. The number he used to leave was 347-827-8241 then 347-827-3814. He even messed up once & said: 347-827-38214... Huh? Now the number he leaves is: 347-468-9552. But I am getting calls from "Officer Gary Cooper" from the BCI in NY regarding the SAME CashAdvanceUSA matter... Which I NEVER recv'd ANY $$$ From & this guy and his Asst. Nick Thomas-Badge# 189 calling from 518-303-6180 with an ext. of 121. So they are still out there!!!!
