I have asked this company " callright marketing services"
kitchener ontario to stop calling me. 31 days passed and it got worse. The company obviously is a sweat shop. What vourse of action can i take now?

Get this call every once in a while.  I don't even bother to answer and it's my business line.  Thank god for call display!

Well just for fun I called (519) 894 4566 from a previous posts. Went to extension 453 to begin with. No-one home. Ended up at 101. Left a VM. Wonder how many calls it can take??

I called the company, they're selling newspapers which apparently doesn't fall under the DNC list.  I asked them to take me off their list, if I get another call I'll be calling to the home numbers of the owners.

They call me everyday since last week, and every time I pick up the phone, they just hang up.

I found the president's email, I am going to send him a message asking him to have his company to stop harassing me.

It is a company called Callright Marketing Services. They call on behalf of your local newspaper (who are exempt from the national do not call list)
They are based out of Kitchener, Ontario. A quick call to them can have your number added to their do not call list. Or I would suggest calling your local newspaper too.

They like to call me everyday and ask for Mrs. Smith.
Everyday i have the same conversation with them and tell them "you call me everyday, that is not the right number, stop calling me" and voila.. they call again.
I've just put a complaint in with the national do not call centre.

CMS is a telemarketing company selling newspaper subs per their voice mail today

I  was surprised to hear this many  comments on this number.When this number comes on my call display  I pick up quickly and hang up. I  wish  they  would  stop  calling me.

I have recieved many calls one of the first i did reqest a paper london free press it did not appear. After 2 weeks I then called the lfp and ask them to cancell. Receieved many more phone calls from the 519 894 0084, all of which times I had ask to be removed from their call list i also called them once and requested to be removed from their call list only to be told it would take a day or two to remove my number during that time i received 3 more calls on that day .  And now, once again i am recieving calls

Call (519) 894 4566, then,  when asked if you know the extension you wish to reach, dial 4 (which I believe is an on duty supervisor, as previously mentioned by another poster), then let that person know you'd like to be removed from their list, be nice about it and you'll probably never hear from them again. :) If you do hear from them again over 2-3 days after being put on the Do NOT Call List, Call your phone service provider such as Bell or Rogers, etc and try to get them to fix it for you, if that somehow doesn't work,(highly unlikely), simply contact the CRTC and issue a complaint over it. The marketing firm will very soon stop calling or face fines from the CRTC. ;)  Yes, newspaper marketing firms, like charities,etc ARE exempt from the "National Do Not Call List", however, if you've specifically asked NOT to be contacted again and they do, then thats grounds to lodge a complaint with the CRTC, then its up to them if they like being fined. ;)

This method can be used in almost any situation, because you must remember, people may say one thing and do another, such is the political game of any area of life, so you must protect yourself by being one step ahead, always. ;)

I called the number 894-4566 and dialed extension 4 -- spoke with a very nice woman named Sara and asked her to remove us from their call list.  She added our number to the do not call list and told me that it might take up to 31 days to stop the calls.  I explained that my husband worked nights and that we were getting calls up to 4 times daily every day and she said she would handle the request personally and have us removed from their call list immediately.

Just called the number 519-894-4966 Ext 4 and very politely asked to have my number removed from the list and was assured that it would be taken care of.

Yep!  They call me all the time now too....but I get no response when I answer the phone just someone sitting there in silence and then they hang up on me.

So, I reported them to the Do Not Call List as I have been registered with them since January 2009.

I also spoke with Bell Canada who informed me that the only way they can get this to stop is if I hit *57 right after they (CMS) hangs up and then they can trace the call.  This however would initiate a police investigation as well.

So, since I subscribe to the "call block" feature....guess who's being added!!!

New Update

I finally reached a Supervisor at 519-894-4566 Ext. 4.  Her name is Rosalind.

I insisted that my number be removed from their call list and informed her that she will be receiving an investigation call from Bell Canada and/or the police as I had their last call traced (*57 does the trick as soon as you hang up from their call).

She was confident that they have every right to be calling me at all hours of the day and late in to the evening without any response when I answer.  

I would encourage everyone to use the *57 option.  Perhaps in doing so, this company will get the message that it is not acceptable to carry on business in this manner.

It cost me a long distance call....but they seem to walk away scott free!

It's just not right.
