Someone  from this number called saying I applied for a personal loan. (I'm worried someone may be trying to take a personal loan out in my name.) He kept saying " are you sure, are you sure you did not recently apply for a loan?"

Just had the pleasure of getting called from these scum bags at 7:45 am MST, this morning. Said something about a loan application. I asked the nut case if he knew that what he just did by calling people before 8 am in any time zone was against the law and that he was being turned over to the FTC and they would take care of his A@@. didn't give him the chance to talk, that makes me mad when you are waiting for an important call and some scum thinks he can interrupt your day with his nonsense.

Middle Eastern accent, called a law enforcement officer Dexter Morgan. Calling me from the law enforcement department, but does not state which department, he states I have fraudulent charges against my social number. Now, I would have believed him if he actually stated the correct number of the justice department and jurisdiction. Don't bother with this crap, if you have pulled a loan from those fast cash places, it's possible these [***] got your information, somehow and some way. I've been receiving threats like this from people for awhile now, and some of them have gotten me. But this one just takes the cake with harassment! DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM, HARASS THEM BACK.

Wrong number. Left voice mail regarding a loan for someone other than the owner of the phone.

I keep gettin calls from this # 543-465-4768 stating that I owe money for a loan that I took out which I never did he wouldn't tell me where the loan supposedly came from please get these people to stop calling me for nothin

i keep receiving calls from this #543/465/4768 and is keeps telling me that i applied for an application for a loan which i really didn't and as soon as i tell them i never applied for anything and it is not me and i ask them for their info then he hangs up i call the # back and the same # that he is calling from it says that is not in svc . this is crasy i really wish from the bottom of my hart that they go to hell these peaople that's harasting me

Hi they have also called me from this number 543-465-4768 twice today, but I have not answered. There must be a something similar that we have all signed up for recently that provided our number to these scamers.

For me it was probably (dumb decision coming up) because I  signed up for a giveaway that was on an ad on youtube that was suppose to be from Phoenix university. Since yesterday a lady with an Indian accent contacted me and tried getting me to sign up for a school near me (and would probably end with providing me a loan). I then told her to please take me off her called list and she said she would try back with me later and hanged up. I'm pretty sure these companies realize they can not make money from people who neglect their services and end up selling our information to scammers instead. Could even just be one single employee who wants to make extra money.

Hopefully someone else has a similar story so we can slowly match the companies doing this. For now, i've just decided to not answer their calls and maybe even do what I read on another website. Jeje Enjoy!

All the FAKE names these SCAMMERS use were/either contestants from Star Search or American Idol. Now where in the world are these shows still in reruns.
Yes, they call me too!!!! I NEVER answer calls if I don't know the #, EVER and I block every single one of them!!!! If you've ever been to any traveling show where you fill out a slip w/the chance to win a free trip this is where they got their info!!!!
Nothing  is free & if it seems to good to be true, it probably is. So the next time you go to one of those shows don't fill out those slips and you won't get these calls!!!

Confirmed quite awhile ago with a couple different police departments that this is a scam and not a real collection call.

got a call from this number looking for an employee.  when i asked who they were they said that they were going to hurt my business.  he is very rude.  indian speaking could not understand a word.  he would not give me a reason why he wanted to talk to the employee.  very rude and threatening.  

I keep getting phone calls from this number saying I am going to be sued for non-payment of a payday loan.  I have not taken out a payday loan.  If you receive this call inform your local police (fraud department).  The gentleman I spoke with had a thick middle eastern accent and said the police were coming to my house and arrest me within the next 24 hours unless I paid them today.  My local police department stated that they do not come to someones house and arrest them for a debt.

Since last Thursday, some man with an accent has been calling me. Can't understand what his name is. States he is calling from legal department at BCS. Have no idea who they are. Has my name & last four digits of my ss number. He says I need to call him back at another number with a 347 prefix because of legal papers being filed in some case, but he doesn't tell me what kind. He called twice today & left voicemail. In past six months have had similar calls, but from different numbers. Blocked 16 numbers, but they wait maybe a month or more & call from a new set of numbers.
How do they get access to your numbers?

Wow, how can anyone fall for this. Best to keep him on the line with questions and concerns. Entertain yourself and frustrate him at the same time

Why are you paying these scammers? I get these calls all the time when I haven't even borrowed any money. Stop paying them!

These parasites call all the time.  They are nothing more than flies, born from dung and equally as annoying.  I use track phones now and will change my numbers every year.  No more nuisance calls for me.  These dudes can go F themselves.

I received several calls from this number. They stated it was "PCS" and the loan, which I never took out, was for $300 from "Cash Advance America." I found out that they are scammers, with a principal financier funding and employing people in SE Asia (probably India). I called them out on being scammers and they began cursing in English and stated their address as being 173 Jefferson SR, Syracuse NY. This is false and I told them I would counter-sue. Thereafter they began cursing at me in Gijrati (Hindu). I know some Indians so I picked up on the curses and called them out again. They hung up on me. They then called back and began cursing and threatened to incur fraud on my account, as well as release my information. I then signed up for LifeLock. I called them back and found that they were using a call blocker or spoofer of sorts to mask their number.

Received 2 phone calls from the 5434654768 number stating that I owed them money for a payday loan and if it was not paid I would have to go to court.  Told them I knew it was fraud and hung up.  They then called back and spoke with my boss and left a 3476271136 number for me to call them back.
