- NoScamPlzI have been called by 5616924404 for days. Finally called back and said put me on your do not call list (I'm already on the national list). The lady "Christine" said that someone at this number asked for Diabetes info (not true, no diabetes at my house) and then tried to get me to give her names of other people that need supplies.
I did a google search and decided to report them to the Florida Office of Attorney General, State of Florida. Here is their number.

- Scissor girl| 5 repliesI used to work at this company part time in-between my hairdressing job. So I could make a little extra money. Not much but something. I can tell you that it is not a scam. I wondered the same thing when I first started but asked to be provender and showed how it works. The hardest part about this job was we had to get their Medicare numbers which is their social number. That was so we could bill the insurance company and the company would pay for the deductibles. And we did have to call the doctors to get the prescriptions.
I know it is not wise to give out your SSN but when I would get somebody like that we always could mail them a packet that they could fill out themselves and send it back and it would go back to our manager. It all seemed legit to me and people would call me back thanking me. It felt good to help people with diabetes since my grand father died from it.- Caller: Christian Healthcare Network
- janet sGot a call from 561-692-4404, a Louis Gross. Said from Diabetic Healthcare Network. Started with selling speal about not testing on fingertips and free meter. I told him have not tested on fingertips since 2004 (I have freestyle lite meter).
What did interest me was could receive test strips without any copay. I questioned him a couple times on this--not just the initial ones but every month.
He did already have my husbands name and address as well as that we have Tricare.
I did give him my doctors name to see if this is for real as some people have blogged this is for real. My doctor/np is with a big company so he will not get a hold of her. I also called and left her a message and will talk to her tomorrow.
Supposedly info is being sent via the mail so I will see what this is all about.- Caller: Christian Healthcare Network

- ohno replies to Scissor girl| 4 repliesStick to cutting hair. The company is stealing from MEDICARE, not individuals. We all should be outraged. At least those of us who actually pay taxes should be outraged.
- scissorgirl replies to ohno| 3 repliesHi Sir - it is not stealing when customers request to be contacted about their diabetes supplies, cpap supplies, catheters or ANY medical supplies for that matter. Quite frankly we did a great service to the population of individuals both young and old who prefered to have supplies delivered to their homes. We NEVER "cold called" as most people assumed. Do you think we had books of Yellow Pages on our desks or something?? No - leads come to our system and the majority of people remember filling out their form and want service. Unfortunately no one writes on here, only people that are dissatsified and those who wish to blog about the company in bad ways. We call back people who have submitted forms and specifically stated "i agree to be contacted." The forms are clear and require a firm opt-in. Again, i think everyone's interpretation is quite jaded considering that in order to become a medicare supplier it takes upwards of 1 year, and requires federal background screenings. we frequently were put under a microscope by the owners and management during all employee meetings (once a week). Saying this is a boiler room is like saying that every company including harry and david who sell fruit are a boiler room because they are cold calling. We are MORE compliant than any other industry. The only fraud that exists is people blogging that we call illegally. Google Liberty Medical which has over 3 million patients and produces revenues well over 3-4 billion dollars per year. Google Diabetes Care Club. All of these providers conduct business in the same fashion. Success comes from effective marketing and educational campaigns. Ever see Wilford Brimley on TV? Is he a fraud? We all obtain customers the same legal way, by calling you back. There are always complaints and unhappy customers and we always did our best to solve any problems. We just like Liberty Medical could never appease all unhappy customers. There are less than 50 complaints on this forum versus the hundreds of thousands of customers that we did service while i was employed. It is quite unfair to attack based upon speculation or a few unhappy customers. I appreciate you letting me voice my opinion. Freedom of speech for all, but please report accurately and not speculatively
- sperl replies to Connie ThompsonBINGO!!! the belfort gang rides again!!
- ohno replies to scissorgirl| 2 replieslike I said, stick to cutting hair. Daniel Parush (sp) set it up. It's a fraud. The company bills MEDICARE for supplies never ordered or delivered. The company needs to constantly solicit medicare information from real patients to keep up the charade. So some real patients receive "free" supplies because the company billed medicare for them and sent the supplies, but that is the minority. The majority of the billing is fraudulent. The company keeps the medicare information and charges millions in undelivered supplies. It's a classic fraud. Legitimate medical supply houses do nt operate like this. Think about it. When is the last time Johnson and Johnson called and asked if you need supplies?
- ShippingDepartment replies to ohnoYou are delusional - i work in the shipping department and unless we are delivering to fake addresses me and my team of 10 hardworking guys ship about 600 new customers per day. Then we contract with a logistics provider to ship the rest of our supplies for all our repeat customers. You must have NO clue about this business considering our supply bills are into the millions each month. If it was a fraud why would we be buying supplies. Your post is just nonsensical - not to mention my team lead personally deals with the fed ex tracking manifest which contains thousands of tracking numbers a week all showing packages delivered to real addresses - guess we mail to fake households now too. Check your facts before you post nonsense. Johnson and Johnson doesnt call customers because they are a manufacturer and they channel their sales through a dealer network - smart guy. People who fill out our offers for diabetic supplies on the internet (search and you will find) get called. Medicare has a policy called supplier standard 11 and it says we can't directly solicit patients without first being called/emailed or opted into a survey. So what you are stating is just stupid. Have you ever head of Merck Medco - parent company of Liberty Medical Supply. Liberty Medical - guess they are a billion dollar fraud then and wow even has the publics money behind them. Where are you getting your facts from? Seriously its like aggravating to read this crap when i have my hands in products and shipments every day. We run out a 25,000 square foot facility - you think if we were a fraud we would even have a shipping department, refill department, 25 people in our prescription and insurance department. we have 300 employees for christ sakes.
- yeeeeeah replies to ohnoYou sir, are very incorrect. All suppliers go through rigorous training and inspections from multiple government agencies to ensure there are no fraudulent packages and no fraudulent insurance claims. Every lead that comes in has a firm opt in, as OhNo stated. If a customer asked to not be contacted again they are immediately added to a 'do not call' list. If a customer returns a package, their insurance will be refunded. It may take a few weeks to get the refund processed but that more has to do with the amount of time it takes the insurance company to process the claim, not the supplier. Yes, the call center may call you multiple times but it is only because the customer isn't saying the right thing. If you hang up, they have to call you back. Keep in mind this is just a call center worker DOING THEIR JOB, making a call that someone requested be made.
It is ridiculous to hear someone who is uneducated in this field complain about fraud while we have to sit through hours of training, house a large department of people who listen to every phone call and pour over every single patient file looking for errors and inconsistencies. - holly replies to Edna BrownThey called me because i got a coupon for Splenda...they sold my number to a third party. I have been researching them though...its 18887770737 they sound good for those of us thst need these supplies. Churches help furnish for the needy if yout insurance doesnt pay...but most insurance will pay for these supplies through a large company. HAS anyone actually used them? If you dont eant calls ask them to remove your number and mske sure you are on the dnc list..oh and no free splenda!
- Michael replies to deleted postWe also offer state of the art portable oxygen concentrators and CPAP equipment too now. We are happy to help you! Please don't hesistate to call.

- Manlystanley replies to ImoThose people, Christian Healthcare Network, are really rude people. I kept getting calls from them and told them each time I was NOT interested in their services. The last time they called I hit the roof. I contacted the FCC, Federal Trade Commission, Insurance Regulation Commission and the BBB filing complaints against them. If they harass you again let them have it hard to make an example for other telemarketers to follow.
- ashley replies to i got a call from this numberyou number gets put on that list when someone fills out an online survey for a free gift card or ipod or something else. people put themselves on the list and also... there is no such thing as a NATIONAL DO NOT CALL LIST... SORRY
- A.Not all of these are scams. I know because i work in one of these call centers. The catch to the free meter gets you set up with a supply company that works with your insurance company and will provide you with a new meter and get your strips sent to your front door every month. You wont pay more than you pay now and might even pay less. It is just like a cell phone company. They give you a free cell phone but make up the money charging you for your usuage. The phone pays for itself on a commitment. As for the SSN... We work with all private insurances and medicare. If its private insurance we ask for your id number or member id. Medicare we ask for the medicare claim number, which unfortunetly is the SSN. I hate that medicare uses the SSN as the insurance ID. Makes my job a lot harder...

- kathy replies to C. ClarkI have been dealing with them for years. I have never had a problem with them. supplies come always on time.. and has saved me a ton of money, especially with 2 diabetics in the house... I am surprised to see all the complaints against them..
- Jimmy D.| 1 replyThey are legitimate! I have been dealing with them for years. If you or someone in your household are diabetic, they can help with supplies. They accept your insurance as payment in full. If you don't wish to receive calls, I am sure they will kindly remove you from their call list.

- IAM replies to Jimmy D.When I moved, I got a new phone number that apparently belonged to someone who was diabetic--I'm making that assumption here. I immediately placed that number on the National Do Not Call Registry, but since this outfit is supposedly non-profit, they can ignore that. However, I have deliberately stayed on the line to talk to a person to tell them I'm not a diabetic. They either hang up or transfer me to someone who takes my number and claims I'll be removed in a month (or whatever). But this started in August of last year and I am still getting called by them in March. Scam or not, any company which doesn't do what they say they will do is not operating from a place of integrity and respect.
