This number keeps calling my cell phone every day, multiple times a day. The one time I answered it was a recorded message playing. My car is not currenty under warranty so I knew the message was not meant for me.

this has been the fifth time this number has been on my cell phone.  Unknown and so it was deleted and researched. who does it belong to?

I keep getting calls on my cell from this number and do not answer.  It is about every other day for a couple of weeks.  I answered by accident yesterday and a pause no answer, so I hung up.  What is this?  I do not want it any more!

I've been getting calls from this company on my Cell phone for the past couple of weeks.  They call under the following numbers:

562-289-8136

614-543-6303

281-520-3761

It's always a recorded message - something that according to FTC rules is against the rules.  Advertisers are not allowed to this - here's the rule:

"FCC regulations prohibit telemarketers from using automated dialers to call cell phone numbers. Automated dialers are standard in the industry, so most telemarketers don’t call consumers on their cell phones without their consent."

And you can list your Cell Number on the Do Not Call list - but it's supposed to be NOT NECESSARY according to FCC Regulations.  

Note:  I'm posting this here because I found the 562 phone number on this site - and I thought people should know that these scammers are doing - and they are Scammers.

The moment you ask them to identify themselves they hang up on you.  And that is definitely against the FCC RULES - they are supposed to identify themselves immediately upon the beginning of the phone call.

Same story here.  Automated recording about vehicle warranty expiration or such.  What really pisses me off is that the call comes to my pre-paid cell phone.  It costs me .10/minute and $1/day, if I pick up or go to check my voice mail.  A pain in the ass to have to monitor it.

Need a filter like email to drop those calls.

I am getting regular calls, regular, I mean every day - one time I told the guy that, I am on NO CALLS LIST. Why the hell are you calling me and you are going to sue for $500/call. They still call every day.

And the phone number is never listed, when you call the number there is a phantom recording to mislead the caller.

This caller must be prosecuted to more than 200% of the law.

We need to get together and have this identified by the Federal Commission.

These calls from a number I don't know that I have not asked for cost me money to receive

I don't have a car! It is a 100% scam!

Got this call multiple times.  Played along with operator and got the name of the company:  Great Atlantic Warranty.  Their Website is:

Googled the company name and found all kinds of info/dirt; try it.

BUT DON'T FALL FOR THE TELEMARKETING, EH?  If people STOP making it productive for them to bother us this way, they'll give it up!

Already called me several times on my cell phone, luckily I missed most of them.

I'm getting these calls on my cell phone. Since I pay by the minute, I particularly enjoy having to listen to and delete these prerecorded voicemails. I've called back from a different phone and gotten a recording saying "thank you - your number has been removed from our call list." Pressing "1" while listening to this message has gotten me to hold music followed by a prompt to leave a voicemail, which I took great pleasure in doing.

i am so mad.  these guys call all the time and every time i opt to speak to a representative they hang up on me within 2 seconds of hearing my complaint.  Very non legitimate!!!!  i want to know how to nail these jerks.  wish i could bring their whole company down

I am getting calls on my cell phone from 562-289-8136 EVERY day.  This has been going on daily for over 2 weeks, and I just received 2 calls 20 minutes apart.  I have not answered any of them, but am getting very annoyed.

This Number calls everyday,  does not answer or leaves a message.  The origin of the call pertained to Auto Warranty info.

I suggest start calling the FBI.

Got the same call need to find an e-mail address and have everyone on here send them an e-mail all at the same time and try to crash there server

I have been getting the same number (562-289-8136) on my cell over and over again. They never leave a message and I would like to report them. Who can we report them to?

I have gotten 2 calls from them one on Jan 22 at 4:48 am and the other on Jan 24 at 7:16pm they leave no message I also before I got a call from 631-840-1026 on Jan 18 at 4:39pm.
