I called back and it was busy.

got this call... and dont answer phone calls from people I dont know... i just called it back and it is a fast busy... how do I make these types of phone numbers that is unknown, restricted or phone numbers that I dont know how I do I make them stop coming through my phone?? is it a way to block unknown numbers, etc???

Also got a call to my 416 cell phone offering a cruise.

I JUST WON A CUISE !! ya ya ....BLOW ME ! & get a life !! Bunch of CRAP  !

SO WEIRD!!!  Didn't recognise the number, so didn't answer. They didn't leave a message, but I'm so surprised to see the amount of other people that are getting calls from this number!  Looks like it's a Spanish Speaking Insurance company, and based on the area code working out of Arlington Virginia?

I'm in Toronto on Rogers Network - my cell phone isn't listed either...

just got a the call but didnt answer.  in toronto with 416 but on telus network

i got one too, but didnt answer....also on the telus network with a 416 area code....seems to me telus pissed of the wrong spics lol

I just got a call from this number. I didn't answer it.

I just got a call on my cell from this number.  My number is on a National Do Not Call List.  Is there any way to report this?

Just got a call from this number at 6pm on the dot.  My cell is a 416 on Telus.  It was some stupid message saying I won a cruise.  I can think of a place to put the cruise ship.

Canada's CRTC's new DNCL has given ANYONE who claims they're a telemarketer to access numbers Canadians voluntarily* list as do NOT call! The list is supposed to be used by telemarketers to NOT call;opposite has been happening.

Some earlier posts have said this number's it's Univ.of Phoenix.With VOIP,people can"spoof"numbers,frustrating.


Sadly,I listed my mobile with CRTC's DNCL and still get the 10 x 0 calls also:(

Btw,I have asked CRTC to speak to Canadian telecommunications companies.Have them BLOCK 10x0 numbers from getting transmitted. See IF CRTC will bother...

Other issue,telemarketers with  auto dialers.N.Am.telcos.should to try and trace*calls. Fine telemarketers,and or cut their service with whomever provides the pipe. End of the day,tier A carriers[ie.Bell,Telus] sell that pipe to smaller providers!

Cocoa,you don't want to block blocked numbers from calling you. Some people you WANT to speak to can be unlisted,ie.government[ie.CRA],police.
