I am tired getting these call and I am on DO NOT CALL LIST...

I am getting tired of these calls i am on the National do not call but that doesn't work. We have all these laws and no one enforces them. I just wish they would stop calling us.

Received phone call today, yesterday, last week from so called "INSTITUDE OF VOTER ATTITUDE SURVERY"
It doesn't exist!
The phone number that shows is 571-308-7951 and a recording says MAGIC JACK.COM  and this is not a working no.
When I told the lady caller today and male caller yesterday that the phone no. showing is a Magic Jack.com recording for free calls and has nothing to do with voter attitude survey!  SCAM people.
Do not call no. is 888-382-1222      report these unwanted calls and this survey is not legitimate!

Caller i.d. showed "Vienna VA".  I answered it and he asked for a member of my family but totally garbled the name.  I told him (family member) was not available to talk right now.  He said "I will call back later".  I said fine.  He never identified himself by name nor what company he was with.  

Please stop calling here

If it is political or people asking for donations the do not call list doesn't apply.  Those people are exempt.

Googled Institute on Voter attitudes And Public Policy and got this site.   Haven't got any phone calls yet, but my grandmother who has been dead for 10 years continues to get mail from them every month or two.    Since they are nice enough to give me a return envelope I return it all.    Anyone know if I can actually paste the envelope to a brick, send it back and have them pay the postage?    One way to get some money for the post office at least.

My friend was getting calls from them often.   Finally figured out they were tea party like folk.    Every answer he gave was ultra liberal- they haven't called him back yet.

I just got a survey in the mail from this group and wonder now if it is because we have refused to answer their questions when they call by phone?  they have called us several times.  My elderly mother in law can't understand a word they are saying so they usually hang up.  I can see the survey is marked carefully to let the organization easily track who I am to link my responses to my identity, using a barcode and a number on the survey and free mailing labels to use as a gimmick to get me to feel obligated to answer.  Their questions make it clear it's some kind of ultra conservative think tank.  ...Asking if I voted for Obama and how do I think he is doing and questions about gun control, abortion and women in combat specifically.  

my husband and i received a mail survey from this organization. It says they are the "institute on voter attitudes & public policy" and they are a "Project of the Free Enterprise Institute" which is located at 3238 Wynford Drive Fairfax, VA 22031. On google maps streetview this appears to be a residential area and not a business. The letter is signed by an "Amy Sloan" who supposedly has a Ph.D but I can find no reference to her online. I have found very few references to them online but they appear to be a far-right or tea party associated polling organization. The polling is very biased (a push poll) and contains leading questions on abortion, gun control, pollution regulation, Right to Work legislation, whether or not women should be allowed in combat in the armed forces, and so on. I threw it all in the trash as they appear to not be a legitimate polling agency.

The Canadian Pharmacy calls me at least once a day from some number I've been unable to block. There have been other numbers. They never leave a message but if you pick up they reverse connect you to a live operator in a manner that looks like they use an auto dialing computer with a database.
Calls come anytime from 7:00AM to 8:30pm for over 5 years now.
This is harassment, Canada pharmacy calls all day starting at 9am and up to 10pm eastern. When I ask them to stop calling they laugh.

Called me. I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message. I am in Montana. I am on the Do Not Call List. Judging from other's comments, I'm glad I didn't answer.

If I've received a call I didn't answer. Don't know your number...you don't get me to pick up the phone. If your a friend you'll leave a msg!!! I came on here because I got a LETTER from these people. I was trying to find out who they were before filling it out and sending it back. Apparently no one knows...I've heard comments about right wing tactics? That sounds more like a left wing tactic to me...manipulate to deceive!

so much for the national do not call list I,ve had 30 blocked calls on my phone I have reported them only to get more HELP HELP!!!!!!!

I receive at least 2 calls per day from this number.  Like everyone else stated, they won't leave a message!  The only thing different is that instead of the great of Kentucky,  my caller Id shows  VIRGINIA, VA!  Lots of people in my neighborhood are receiving them too...and they ALL give the state of....VIRGINIA!   I looked up the area code & sure enough it's Washington DC, Virginia....etc.

I have gotten calls at all hr  of the day and some times at night I got on at 9:30 pm .
and all it said was Vienna VA and I`m getting sick and tiered of then calling me
on Monday I will call the Arkansas DA I`m all so on the no call list

I got a survey to mail in send to my correct name and address along with a bunch of free mailing labels.  I had not heard of Institute on Voter Attitudes & Public Policy, a Project of the Free Enterprise Institute.  Thankful that we have search buttons on our computers.  When I saw 800 Notes posting a phone number and allllll these comments I was blown away.  Okay, definitely NOT going to answer their survey.  A mailing is enough.  Have not had calls from the outfit and sure would like to keep it that way too.  As for posters who say I am on the do not call list -- that does not apply to political calls or anyone you have done business with (as in being a nice donation to some well known outfit).  The lists are sold and there you go!  Lots of politcal calls this month and the marketing ones are off and on year round.  We are so doomed ... I never answer the phone.  If you do, you verify you are alive and a target for any of them.  Playing games with them gets you on more lists.  Think about it, okay?  Oh if we could get annoying people and crooks to stop!

Survey companies and charities are exempt from the Do Not Call List. However if you request to be put on their list, that must do it.

Do you not understand there are organizations that the DNC law does not apply to. Read the law and familiarize yourself before you wreck yourself.
