They wanted me to do a survey!!

I also received a call from this number late at night.  The ID caller just said VIRGINIA.  I didn't answer,...they didn't leave a message.  I somehow doubt this is some "robo" call for a city council candidate,..when you consider these calls are being made all over the country.  I live in Nevada.  Why would anyone call me about some person running for a small town position in another state????  I suspect they are either working for some national special interest group or doing some telemarketing illegally.

I received a call from this number last night...didn't answer but I am always curious who it is if they don't leave a message.  I guess i got phone spammed.  :o)  It is weird how they are calling everyone. I am a wyoming resident but I have a montana phone number.

Called this afternoon, didn't leave a message.  Don't know why this company would be calling our state as we have no elections going on at this time.

they have called three times and ask for a specific person, will not leave a message and i am on the do not call list and on the iowa do not call list,they want you to leave a phone number and we have never called them, this is pure harrasment, they can be tracked to a polling company Instuitute on voter attitudes and public policy

Guess they're jumping all over the country. Just got a call from them here in Iowa. Asked for my husband, I said he wasn't here. She said they'd call back....yippee, not.
Not aware of any elections in our area. And our town is so small they wouldn't use something like this anyway, lol.

This number came up as "Virginia Caller" on my Caller ID.  I don't know anyone in VA and didn't answer.

I am on the Do Not Call list.  I received a call from Virginia, 571-308-7951.  When I looked the number up on line, it came up as YMAC Corp out of VA.  I called the number back and a voice mail picked up.

They called me on my cell and this costs me money. They called my home number and I asked them not to call me again. They said they wouldn't. Now they call on my cell. How do I stop this harassment?

A lady called from this mumber asking me to take this survey and she only wanted "opinions". When I asked what this was regarding she just repeated the same intro she had already stated--- that this was an opinion only survey. I told her I was at work and she said she would call back later. I told her please dont. I am on the do not call list too!

Late night call last night on cell I was asked was a certain person available & they were told not to call again.  Just had a beep on the phone again from that number indicating a missed call....these people are pests.

They just got me in Montana on my cell phone.  Has anybody found more information on this group?  Who are they?  What are they trying to prove?

I received a call - man identified himself as being with the Institute on Voter Attitudes. Questions were: Am I Democrat, Republican or Independent; would I support a right-to-work law in MT; do I oppose all tax increases including those for education; do I oppose all laws that seek to control guns; do I oppose abortion in all cases except if the mother's life is in danger.

They called me twice this morning at 9:55 and 10:42 and once yesterday afternoon. I did not answer, maybe they got the hint.

I suggest that everyone start calling them back and leaving them the filthiest messages with the foulest of language, jam up their message recorders - maybe they'll get tired of listening and get the 'message' that we just don't want them to call

Since I screen all calls before picking up my phone, I have not spoken with this caller and no message has been left.  The caller ID is VIRGINIA and two calls have come in in the past four days.  Many thanks to the contributors who have researched the source of the calls.  It certainly does not surprise me that the source is a right-wing extremist-connected outfit. The Free Enterprise Institute and Mr. Galambos are well-known right-wingers and their unscrupulous tactics are par for their course.  I live in Montana, which indicates to me that their influence is spreading like an evil cancer.  Fortunately, my telephone service company (Bresnan) has a "block individual callers" option which I have activated for this number.

Two calls from this number.  No response when I answer.  Extremely irritating.  If, as has been reported, they are an exempt DNC organization, well and good, however that does not exempt them from exercising common courtesy.

I don't even live in this state.  I keep getting calls from this number asking for my opinion.  I keep telling them NO I will not respond and to quite calling me, but they keep calling...arghhhh!
