India accent male told me that my visa card was charged nearly $2K for tickets. Asked me to call Andrew 571.258.4611 x69071 to confirm.

I have no idea why this number would be calling me. I'm in Canada. Have not applied for a mortgage or sign up for anything through travelocity. Very strange.

When my cellphone rang I answered it. The guy on the line had a accent that sounded like he was from the UK. The guy asked twice if my name was (he said my frist and last name), without identifying who he was and why he wanted to know. I stupidly answered "yes" to the question. So I could get a word in to ask why he knows my name and who is he. He hung up.

I tried to call the number back and it is alway busy. Please help figure out who the company is and what they are doing with our information!!

This is a scam run by AmeriWins a non-us company through Comcast phones. Advise your friends not to answer it or get their bank accounts cleaned out.

Indian speaking male is calling trying to make me pay for something I paid for with another credit card.  I book a hotel through Travelocity and when I got there they said that the card Travelocity issued me was blocked and I had to use another card.  This man is saying that the room is prepaid by Travelocity and is trying to get me to pay Travelocity even though he knows they blocked the card.  Everyone knows that you cannot prepay a hotel room and the card is just used to hold the room and is charged to the card when you leave.  My paper work from the booking even said that.  This guy is doing nothing but harassing me.

I missed the call. I tried to return the call and was told it was a call tracing and money would be added to my bill.

Got a phone call regarding a delay in payment.

He said he was part of collection agency hired by NYK - They said they wanted the payment and asked for AP Department.

Not sure if they are really collection agency or what not.  I asked for an invoice.

I am in the same situation. India accent at first and asked me to do a survey about holiday inn IHG, then said I was awarded a free night and transferred me to another agent. I realize it should be a scam and hang off.

I never answer numbers I don't know - if they are LEGITIMATE, they will leave a name, number or message so you can call them back.  Even then, if you have no idea who this is, please don't call back - once you do they "got 'cha".  An honest caller will leave a proper message and follow up with either an email or snail-mail to let you know they are trying to reach you and why !!

Just received this call on cell, did not pick up and they left no message.

Same thing as others.  IHG Holiday Inn express thanking me for staying with them (which we have a few times recently) then asked 4 dumb questions and then transferred to a lady who gave this long spiel about a complimentary stay. Then wanted a cc number. I hung up.

Missed call on my phone from VA, did not leave a message.  I tried to return the call because I do know people there, got a busy signal. Goggled the phone number and got this site. Have now blocked the number.

Said they wanted to thank me for being IHG member and wanted to do "vacation survey" - this is the second time they have called me and I said if they call me one more time, then I will stop being an IHG member and stick with Hampton Inn and Fairfield Suites.  LOL

How do we actually complain to IHG?   I want to know who sold my phone number, which I am very selective about sharing.

This may be a call center hired by various companies. The caller had an indian accent but it was actually a legitimate call. I had just returned from a trip on Air Canada and my luggage was lost.  It was placed on a later flight to my home airport. This call was to confirm that I had received my bag and to let me know what to do if it hadn't been delivered yet.

I received a phone call from this number and a foreign man asked to verify my basic info and ask me about a recent stay at Holiday Inn and Suites. Within 9 minutes, he was able to access my IHG account and offer me a trip to one of three resorts for a discounted, too good to be true rate. When the gentleman asked for my credit card information for the reservation deposit, I hung up the phone. Within the next several weeks, my checking account was drained and now false charges are being placed to my IHG Mastercard. DO NOT ANSWER ANY CALL FROM THIS NUMBER!

Indian accent. Male. Called at 7:30 pm. Said he was from Holiday Inn and wanted to thank me for staying with them. He asked me to take a survey about the stay. Sounded fishy from the start, so I said I didn't have time and hung up, as he was saying he would call me another time.
