Just got the call on my cell.  It says VA USA under the number...
Indian accent... Asking my name.  I said I did not know that person... He kept up... You are not... ( my name) and I said no... Then it was Oh, oh, sorry to bother you, and thanked me for thanking the call then hung up.  Creepy. Then I called the number.  " the subscriber you have dialed is not I. Service". So there.  Scam city.

Just got this call in FL. Let it go to voicemail. A lot of background noise. Sounded like a call center.

Did not leave message. Unknown caller.

So, if it was a ligit call why did you look up the number?  Typically people don't look up numbers when they are legit because, well, it's legit - let alone post that it's a legit number.  Who does that?  Who takes a phone call, have it work out such that it was a legit call, and then thinks to themselves "hey, I should look up the legit phone call I just got to make sure it's doubly legit"?  And then post on a site like this that "it was legit"?

I answered and it was a male voice saying "hello" in Spanish. Although I know Spanish, I do not subscribe to any Spanish material, so there is no reason for anyone to call me in another language. I hung up before anything else was said.

The caller ID that appeared on United Airline's caller ID was NOT mine but this number appeared. United was processing a refund.

Holiday Inn, some kind of time share (too good to be true) free nights, just give your credit card....I could only understand one of every 10 words he said.  Will never answer from this number again.

Also received a hang up, no message left.

I have been receiving calls from this number for about 3 days. I don't answer because I never answer calls for numbers that are unrecognizable to me. I just blocked those numbers, although, it doesn't stop the calls, I don't have to hear my phone constantly ringing.

Same here saying Holiday Inn, asked me several survey questions like destination of last trip and if I'd prefer double points packages to other incentives. Then he was going to transfer me to someone else to offer me a Free of Charge Stay - These guys are getting creative, hanged up the phone and blocked the number

Man asked for my husband by name.  When I asked who is calling, he hung up.

Received a call from 571-918-6490 asking to do a survey about a stay at Holliday Inn. Had a bunch of survey questions and offered to transfer to another agent for a complimentary stay. I told them I am not interested and they hung up. Called had Indian accent. Hard to understand, kept repeating my name in every sentence.
