Same for me.  Told me they were with IHG and I had to answer a quick 7 question survey which I did.  I was then transferred to a sales lady which we through about a 12 minute pitch regarding holiday inns new Club Vacations brand of hotels.  She was able to pull my IHG account information (including point balance and length of membership) up by using just my phone number so that part makes me think it is somewhat legitimate.  The jist of it was I needed to book a reservation at $250 for a 3 night/4 day stay right then and there.  She wanted a credit card which I wasn't comfortable giving up.  So I hung up.

Called...left no message

I had a missed call a few weeks ago and answered the call today. The person said the company was WNS and Holiday Inn or IHG. They asked me to take a quick survey and then transferred me for the $199 4day/3night stay at a new Holiday Inn Vacation Rentals. I said I wasn't interested to stay at any of the location they offered. I'm calling IHG to confirm. They were able to look up my point numbers and account number w/ only my name.

I called IHG to verify if the calls was real and they said YES! It's a promotion they are offering to card holders or people they signed up for their rewards card! I googled WNS and IHG and they are working together.

Got a call from number

They Called my wife and asked for me... She said I wasn't available so she hung up
My wife thought some girl was trying to get at me so she got mad. Wife says the lady sounded foreign.

call-no message. I am on the "do not call registry" and wonder how htese people can call me.

Tried to get my details after I booked with gotogate STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

Very heavily indian accent male called at 2:53am in the friggin morning saying that there's a problem with my booke dtrip.
They knew my name and that I booked a trip in the near future but didnt seem to know much than that.
He started asking for my information that he needed it to confirm I'm the right person.
I got real suspicious so I asked " So wehre is this trip that I booked to?"
HE stutered and said "Well, we can't give you that information...." (and I hung up)
I live in South Korea so have no idea why he would call here, and at 2:53am in the friggin morning.

Didn't answer because don't know anyone in Virginia. Turned out to be Air Canada's central baggage center following up to confirm that delayed baggage had been delivered to a family member.

THIS IS A SCAM---DO NOT BE TAKEN.  They have been calling me for days (yes, heavy accents) left a message saying they were from Travelocity and needed to give them "a new credit card to pay for my reservation" --- pure bull.

Called, did not answer, no message left.  Looking at the list this has been going on for quite a few years.  Why can it not be stopped.

A women with an Indian accent left a message that I could barely make out. She may have said something about my national student loan, which is a Canadian student loan, so a call from the states regarding it would not make since to me.

Missed this call to my cell phone number in Australia. No message left. Based on other feedback this is a scam but have no idea how they got this number!

Fourth call in as many days. I have no idea who these folks are and they never leave a message.

This called me in Australia (number. And up as from USA)pretending to be from 'go to gate', a travel booking website and tried to sell me flight insurance over the phone. He said If I paid $50 now I would get 100% of my flight cost back even if I cancel my flight 2 hours before leave time. I asked if I could think about it and he said no, deal only for available now! I said thanks I would think about it and hung up.
