Called my cell phone.  Didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.  If they are who earlier posters are saying, they are a well known scam "charity" based in Michigan.  They call out using many different numbers and claim to be collecting for different charities.

I am on the Do Not Call Resgistry, however I keep receiving phone calls from this number

I just a "call" from this number that was a cross between heavy breathing and laughing.  I did a call trace.  If I get another call like this, I will call the police.

call from 586-473-0001.  caller knew name. when i asked how the caller aquired my number, she claimed it was on a list. Told her i was on a do not call list

Got a call from this number on May 14 @11:23 AM.  No message was left.  Came up as Michigan call on Caller ID.  I don't answer or return calls from numbers I don't know.

Company's name is Insight Teleservices. Total scammers

Keep a LOG of all the dates and times that you have told them NOT to call.  Then, REPORT them to the DNC list with that SPECIFIC information.  The DNC website specifies that they need that type of info in order to prosecute.

I believe the NAME of these SCUMBAGS is "INSIGHT TELESERVICES."

I have been reporting this number to the do not call list for over a year and nothing has been done...why is there even a do not call list?

Next time they call I will blow a whistle in their ear, she won't be able to use that ear for a while.  Hopefully she will get the message.

This number called me. Claimed to be a charity for children's Lukemia. So glad I have an unlisted number! Why we all pay for this I don't know!

When I asked the person to please take my name off the list he said "maybe" before he hung up on me.

Recieved a call this morning, man on the other end speaking in a foreign language (sounded middle eastern), then just hung up.  I had recieved another call from them about a month ago collecting for childrens cancer charities and when I refused to give her any $ she told me I hope your kids get cancer then you'll wonder why no one helps you.

Get OOMA phone service. It's so easy to block these numbers on there. Thanks to all who posted - i've been getting several calls from this number and finally blocked them. :-D

These people call at least once a day. They claim to be collecting for breast cancer victims who are suffering financially. Last year I told them I would donate to them if they sent paperwork in the mail, but they never did! That's when I raised an eyebrow. I think this outfit is a scam! This really affects me because my daughter died of breast cancer 5 years ago, and I donate to Susan B. Komen and cancer research yearly, but I don't know this Michigan group! They've been calling for a long time, and I wish I knew how to stop them!

I just got a call,from this number, (caller ID - CALL MICHIGAN) and this time I picked up and said "hello".   It was Jamica, saying she was calling from the Children's Leukemia Foundation.  Told her I was on the DNC list.  She said the list does not apply to them.  I laughed and hung up.

I have had 7 calls (all from different numbers) from 11am to 1:30 pm.  I believe 5 of them are all from the same group....one the medical alert scam and the other for a security system.  the 586-473-0001 is from Armada, Mi and is connected to at least 3 others.  I got a phone that blocks calls, but it only blocks 20 and it is full.  This telemarketing is out of hand.  The phone company needs to step up and provide call blocking as a service to customers without charge!

Now they are calling  for breast cancer......I informed the woman that back in May i received a call for a childrens leukemia donation and back then I asked them to take my name OFF their list,,,this woman was SO RUDE, she said "WHAT DO I have to do with leukemia, I'm calling you about breast cancer, so I said, can you please take my name off your list,  the woman continued to say to me, "what does she have to do with leukemia"  I turned around and told her "NOW LISTEN"  the next thing I heard was she hung up on me....I tried to call back and it said unable to connect this call......  The woman knew my name and she called about 8:40pm.     THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!!!!!!

Today they are collecting amounts of either $100, $75, or $50 for "babies with leukemia" who want to either "take any trip" or "meet any celebrity."  It sounds like they are trying to be a knock-off version of the Make A Wish Foundation.  My phone company lets me block individual numbers, and that's what I'll be doing for this one.  Fake / disreputable charities creep me out!  There are plenty of legit organizations we can support, and all of them are searchable online.

I got called by a number I that was scamming. I called them on it and started cursing and telling him to get a real job..he called me a bloody [***] and hung up. 45min. later same number a different person, I told her to give up the last guy gave you away..told her to get a real job and hung up..have NOT called me back.

The call and call and never leave a message.  Call back and no answer or message...Really annoying.
