caller said they were collecting for breast cancer,got rude when I declined

These people call everyday with a different charity and every day they are told to remove my number. Also, I'm on the Do Not Call List so how did they get my number?

This number has been calling everyday.  As I do not know anyone from this area code, I do not answer.  They never leave a message.

Got a call today from this number, no message left. It's a Sunday!

Called and didn't leave message. Another so called "charity" scammer now added to my blocked call list. Had been getting several  calls from these idiots and was about to disconnect my home phone. Did some research and purchased a Call blocker machine ---and it  works GREAT!--This little thing costs under $100- Found it at Amazon. The device will block and disconnect these jerks when they call and my phone does not ring when they try to harass me!  Worth every penny!! You can program the machine to block specific numbers or area codes. Unkown calls without a number are blocked too.

Scammers, call from Michigan boiler room, con artists don't answer. Pond scum have to steal for a living. CID reads "CALL MICHIGAN".

Caller id says "Michigan",.  First time, left no message.  Second time, they said they were calling for the fake name we have our phone registered under "about a check Mrs. XX had written" and that they'll call back later.  SCAM!!!

10/10/13.  Still at it!  Let it ring 4 times; just as machine was picking up they disconnected.  Weasels!

Instead of complaining here about this number, file an online complaint form at FCC.gov or a complaint by phone at 1-888-CALL-FCC. Only way to stop these idiots.

I don't know who these people are.  They call at least once, maybe twice a day.  No one ever speaks up when I answer the phone.  I suspect they are a charity scam...and are looking for a certain type of voice to answer the phone. I, too am on the "do not call" list.  Have been for years.

We have been receiving calls from various numbers listed at "MICHIGAN CALL"

Today, they were asking money for the Disabled Vets Association.

Caller claimed to be collecting for the "veterans".  Stated he would not take a donation over the phone, but would send a pledge card and how much would I pledge?  I suggested they send information on the organization along with the card...Hang up.   Clearly a fraud.

This company represents several charitable entities, some are not even real - My wife had a soft spot one time 3 years ago when they called and told her that they were raising money for children's leukemia and my wife donated $50.00, now we get calls from this group for Breast cancer, Wounded soldiers,  one time they were going to provide I pods for children with cancer, they usually have a very heart wrenching story to tell, then they hit you with their silver, platinum and gold levels of giving. Here is what I know - 13% of the money they raise goes to a charity = $13.00 out of every $100.00 - that is criminal in its self - I have asked them every time to remove our name from the call list and they don't have to because they consider themselves a charity - although they make a huge profit off of every donation. I have been rude - I even told one woman who called that she should be ashamed of herself - if children stopped dying - she wouldn't get a pay check ! when called about breast cancer - I said no - I hate breasts - these people are relentless. DO NOT GIVE MONEY TO THEM _ EVER ! give directly to an organization you feel comfortable with - at least the American Cancer Society uses 30% of the donations to fight cancer and 70% goes to overhead and administrative fee's, but there are much better ways to make a difference, just check it out for yourself.

i put them on my call forwarding...............right to the FBI office in D.C.  let them take care of it.

Recieve calls daily from this number. I never answer since caller id just states Armada, MI. Today I called back, busy signal. Immediately called back a second time, just rang endlessly and then disconnected me.

I am on the do not call list. Apparently that doesn't work as I get several telemarker calls every day. Sick.of.it.

Called 9PM local time and hung up when I answered. Must be Breast Cancer something something which was listed as the fund raiser gets 90+% of the money and the charity gets pennies. Everytime they call I throw the 90+% them and they got nasty. Then they would only talk to my wife and now they hang up when I answer.

I keep on getting this call, now with caller ID I don't have to answer and they do not leave messages. I just got it today January 16 2014 at 7:03 PM.  Don't answer do not give money.

Received call from woman from Armada. Asked for home owners and said they are not available. She hung up right on my face. They have called 5 times this past week and the caller ID shows Aramada and a Michigan area code of 586. Keep reporting these scum of the earth low life people!
