sadly our mobile providers are as helpful as landline companies, which is next to "not a lot" - UK regulator for these numbers is PayphonePlus. visit their website payphoneplus.org.uk (they're part of ofcom) and enter 60044 in their #NumberChecker search facility which will tell you what to do, including a formal complaint if SB7 Mobile Ltd does not resolve matters to your satisfaction.please return to THIS site & update other victims on what happens next.

I got 2 texts from this number 2 Saturday's in a row  I haven't even opened the texts but have been billed £3.50 each time. I still haven't opened them but the start of message says Mintedmobi.com: reply correctly & u could win the gift cards THI .... This is all I can see without opening it which I refuse to do as I am not being billed for someone texting me without me giving my number to them and not opening or replying to them my daughter has had same issue from from a number 82888 she was billed £4 for 2 texts she received

These premium rate text messages from 60044 are a scam. They are sent to you by MINTED MOBI  (SB7 Mobile LTD) a competition, special offer coupon company. You NEVER EVER respond to them or reply.  Report them and get your "so called account" with them cancelled or they will continue to take money from your phone account daily, usually around £4.50p for every text you receive. Phone companies do not seem to have the authority to block them and it appears that you can only get rid of them by contacting them on 0330 1340181, and asking to have your account with them closed. If you have ever innocently clicked on a Tesco or Aldi special offers or an online competition and not read all the small print you may have unwittingly been directed to their site. These guys are criminals and if you can’t get any satisfaction or are unhappy about them you must report it to Ofcom (Phone pay plus)

This is happening to my 14 year old son on his pay as you go. He's been stressing about this and only just told me. Thank you for all the information on this site. This shouldn't keep happening, we should be able to stop this sort of theft.
