This is definitely a scam number and should be blocked. 411 is for incoming not outgoing calls and there's no reason for them to call either.

We get this call repeatedly at all hours. Unaware when I called back first time and got billed $2.50 for calling directory. Complained to sasktel and got sluffed off. They don't care.

Got a call from this number. I answered the phone. They hung up before I could even say Hello. the caller id on my  phone said: Brit. Columbia.

One ring and stop. "missed call" was displayed on my cell phone. got this call monday at 8 : 45 pm in Province of QC. it' s an area code from southern BC. i did some internet browsing day before on Salt spring island near Vancouver. i'm sure it's related, since it's not the first time this kind of "coincidence" happend to me. Don't know how they got my number though.

Called me at 8:11 AM Alberta Time. Phone did not even ring. Just found out as a missed call. Same happened few times before.

I also received a call from that number about an hour ago, then received a call from 289-212-1280 and they also hang up after you pick up

Got a call at 11:30 am in Qc.  Was at work.  Some VOIP phone service companies permit you to enter the number that will be displayed by the Caller ID.

I missed a call from this number. I think my phone never rang. Caller ID said "Brit. Columbia".Called back and it was directory assistance. I was so confused because they answer with "What city and province?" and I had no idea what was going on. When I explained, the operator said they don't call people and hung up. Now I have a $2.50 charge on my bill for calling 411!

This # has called me 4 separate tim each time I was out, my voice mail feature doesn't work so idk who this is calling.  Seems like the twilight Zone

Got call at about 8:30am (Sun.). Rang once & then didn’t go off again.  Phone Lines, Cell-#’s, & Resident.#’s are all being hacked-into from outside sources (illegally).
Rotate calls thru mult.servers to avoid getting flagged by CRTC &/or RCMP.  No one looks into these incidents anymore.... your (local) “Gestapo” is apparently too busy tossing themselves-off to Child Porn & eating Boston cream doughnuts at Tim Horton’s to even contemplate allocating time, $, & resources to fixing this

(After all the govts promises crackdowns on scams, & DNC-Lists.  Sadly we’re on our own here folks)
