Why are you calling

This number calls at least 5 times a month and at 1030 at night. It is blocked but showed up on my TV SCREEN. THIS is going to end RIGHT NOW. I will be forwarding to Do not call list.ENOUGH already.

Ringss once then stops.  Called now 2 days in a row.

Called at 11:07 PM. Scam. I would not call them an artist.... a wannabe maybe …

Called me in Manitoba-- Company charged me Extra 4.25 .

Same story here in Surrey BC.  Rang once at 5:45 pm.

604-555-1212, it never ends.  They try try try. 1 pm Eastern time zone.

This number keeps calling but luckily it has been permanently blocked so good luck next time.  I wish they would just go far far away

Why do they call all across the second largest country in the world just to let it ring once and hang up? What do they gain? Why has no one stopped them?

This number has showed up a few times on my tv screen as a call coming in to my phone.  My phone never rings, there is never a person on the other end when I answer and there is never a message left.  I think it is scammers and I really wish the phone companies would do something to rid us all of these criminals.

In summary:

In the days of 7 digit dialing, 555-1212 was the same as dialing 411 for Directory Assistance and  1-604-555-1212 provided the capability for people outside of the 604 area code to call directory assistance for the 604 area code (BC TEL/TELUS operators).

If you see this number appear on your call display it is because it is being "spoofed" by a junk caller.

I myself had to use the Telus *69 Call Return feature (fee may apply to use) to determine what the un-displayed incoming number actually was with these calls.)

Scammers, just spoofing the BC phone system.
