We keep getting these calls that when we answer it just hangs up, and if we call back the number is not assigned. This is annoying and it seems to be some kind of network glitch. this happens at all sorts of time of day.  I wish there was something that could be done.

I have a US Cell phone.  When I am in Vancouver BC, the number 604-602-9478 shows on Caller ID for about 50% of calls coming from my friends in the U.S. So in my case it is functioning as some sort of routing number.

this was a call back from merchant services AMEX division for my credit card processing device; i had to call a toll free number to get back to them and didn't expect the number showing up to be a local number to me as they said they are mountain time but it happen to be the same time as myself

The call was from my friend in Vietnam. I think the number was somehow assigned when he called long distance.

The past couple of days I've been getting a call from this number and whenever I pick up, the other line hangs up, so yesterday when they called and did the same thing, my dad called the number back and it said the number wasn't in service.

We've been getting calls for a couple of weeks now - sometimes 4 times a day.  They claim they are calling about my timeshare and when we say we don't have one they hang up.  Usually the call display shows private name/number but this morning the 604-602-9478 number came up.  When I tried to call it - it says out of service.

Multiple calls. Now Nov of 09.

this is starting to get a bit ridiculous, I called my phone provider to complain and see if i could get this number blocked, there is nothing they can do..
What is the point of having a pvt number. Whoever you are calling from this number all you are doing is irritating the hell out of people.

Also getting calls from this number, now 23 Nov 09. For weeks! On my cell phone.  Sometimes at odd times. Some computer voice starts talking. I pay roaming just to answer! How can I block it?

Got a call from this number around 7 pm today. They left a 3 minute msg of silence on my vonage voicemail.

Just got a call from them now, didn't leave a voice message though.

well tell u what. this number is usually displayed when people call using a calling card.  yeah it could be scammers also using calling cards to place their call. but it could be someone u know. it can be from anywhere in the world.  I have had people call me from the US, from Asia and from Europe when this number displays. so no worries.

I received repeated calls from this number with silence.

It's long distance. Normally when someone calls you through a V.o.ip  provider it will try to show an area code from your country if not your same area code. My boyfriend lives in the states and called me from this number this morning.... which is not his cell number.

It's a call from Skype... someone using Skype was trying to call you
