I received a very harassing phone call from Kathy yesterday. She informed me one of our past employees from quite a long time ago ordered this newsletter. I informed her that was not true, the employee she mentioned had not worked here in years. She said that we have paid it in the past. I researched our records with her on the phone and told her we have never paid that. She argued with me that we did. I told her if she would give me her number I could have our attorney call her back and that is when she lost it. Starting yelling at me and saying why would you want to involve your attorney when I am trying to help you? I finally told her to have a great day and hung up.

I received a phone call today from Lindsey at International Credit Recovery.  Thanks to these comments here I did not respond and will not.  I have no idea what they are calling about but it sounds like a scam.  Looking at the other comments I have never even heard of the "accounts" that were listed as initiating the collection.

Received a called from 607-748-4686 stating an account was in collections. She had spoken to another staff but didn't get anywhere so she contacted me as his supervisor. She was not willing to send me any invoices or information from the company we "owed" money. I told her you can fax me the information and IF it was a legitimate bill if not we would not and our legal department  would get involved. I hung up.

Subscription scam. Said I was offered a free trial for a benefits magazine and that I neglected to cancel so owed money to a company initially called What’s New In Benefits, then changed to Progressive Business. Never had any such subscription. Call from “Bekki Morgan” from “collections” at international Credit Recovery, inc.

Same story as many others. Lindsey from ICR called and said we ordered a Supervisors Safety from Progressive Publications. I stated that they called me and I informed the salesman that I do not want nor do I have time to look at their publication. He said can he send it anyway and I said if you want but I am not ordering, paying, or desire to look at the publication. When I asked for an address to provide to our attorney, she stated she will call the owner of the organization.

I am shocked reading all this.  How is The Selling Advantage and this collection agency still in business, still doing this????  My call was from a Cynthia Thomas, if that's her real name.  Other reviews have noted a Cynthia Thompson so maybe she changes that every now and then but I am in shock at how many years she's been doing this and no one has shut her, or The Selling Advantage down. I never ordered this publication, I never received it or any invoices or final notices as she stated I did and I am the second person in my company to be scammed by them. Everyone needs to be vocal and help shut it down.

The jerk by the name JIM who called me trying to collect for am subscription for something that I unsubscribed for several times. he was super RUDE so I was SUPER RUDE back. I am not one to be nasty to people but this guy he needs a good swift knuckle sandwich.  I would like to say that he called him self a supervisor which is a joke, they need action taken against them for they way they attempt to collect fraudulent funds from people that they have no business trying to collect when cancelation of an EMAIL new letter.

something about Pfizer and I haven't worked there since 2010. Pfizer would have sent me a letter and not phone me.  I think this is a scam
