Got a call this morning after getting a scam call that I didn't answer as they first called my son in Florida and he figured it was a scam - I didn't answer it as it came just as the other call was cut off by Robo and they didn't leave a message

Got a call prior to this one from 866-441-1957 which was probably caught by Nomorobo and disconnected, only to be immediately followed by this phone # 608-371-6666 .  I didn't answer and a voice left a garbled 1 word remark on my answerer machine.  I added this to my Tiime-Warner call blocker also.

This number always calls right after Nomorobo hangs up on a call that comes through just before.  They told me they were Comcast and asked for me by name.  I called the number back, the message says its nomorobo self reporting line.  Complicated spoof they have going on.

This IS Nomorobo telephone number allowing a call to go through. The caller's ID showed hidden, out of area, or blocked so Nomorobo picks up the call (you hear one ring and stops) and the caller hears a recording telling them to enter a sequence of numbers to prove theyare not a robodialer. When the person does, the call rings through with Nomorobo's caller ID (and your phone rings again with this number ending in 6666). This is why everyone is getting a different caller from family members with blocked caller ID to doctor's offices to the ever-present telemarketer and crook. Tell family to dial *82 (displays caller ID) first to bypass Nomorobo.

This IS Nomorobo allowing a call to go through as the caller's ID was originally hidden/suspicious and the live caller entered random numbers as instructed by Nomorobo to prove this was not a "robodialer". The call is then forwarded by Nomorobo after the numbers are entered successfully and your phone rings shortly after hearing one ring. These forwarded calls can be from family members with blocked caller ID's, doctor's offices, and of course the ever-present telemarketers and spammers.

Call rang 4x, then my voicemail picked up and they hung up before leaving a message.
I don't answer calls if I don't know who they are, and I can block numbers on my Panasonic phone, which I did with this #.

Just got a call from this number 608-371-6666 and told that I have a warrant out for my arrest from the IRS.  I was told to call 347-809-6326.  I did call it but there was a lot of static.  I asked the person to call me back...the caller id confirmed that the call back was from 608-371-6666, the same number that initiated the first call. What a scam..........LOL.

Excellent explanation and that is exactly what happened to me today. Missed a call from Good Sams Roadside Service followed immediately by this 6666 number.

Nasty person called and yelled at me on Christmas Eve! She was trying to tell me we use to use them as our electric utility supplier. When I told her she was miss informed she said no a reD me my address. I explained how we WORK for our electric utility supplier and again she must be mistaken but because she was SO RUDE and didn't stop to listen and started yelling profanities at me I hung up on the human

Call immediately followed 4 other calls from another spam number in Seattle. Both numbers are just fax tones.

Claims to be Sundance Vacations saying I have won a free vacation.  Told them no thanks.  They were rude and tried to pressure me into accepting.

There was no message because it didn't make it to the answering machine.  These individuals don't want to work, they want to steakl from YOU!!!

Yes they are crooks and just want your identity or credit card!!!  They need to find a real job!!!!

First got a call that my caller ID read as "Unknown Caller" and the blocker stopped it after one ring. Within 15 seconds, got the call showing the number as 608-371-666. A man (no accent) said he was calling for my mother-in-law but totally botched the pronunciation of her first and last names (and they're not that difficult to say). He said he was a process server from Clark County, Nevada (where she used to live), and she had a court summons he was trying to serve. I tried to explain to him that he's mispronounce both names, AND that she's been dead for over two years. He interrupted me to say "I couldn't care less!" So I hung up on him. Jerk.

Got message saying call from debt collector didn't say who they were or who they want to speak to caller I'd came out as Maine Med  CTR

We have received this spam call several times.  It is blocked by Nomorobo.  It spoofs the name Slomins (which is a legitimate company, unfortunately). And as others have reported here, it seems to be immediately preceded by another spammer: in our case, a call supposedly from Telefund --303-293-2727
