Thanks Anonymouse.  Best post yet on this scam.   I've been after Pacific Telecom for a long time and have detailed records of phone calls placed by #'s owned by them but which they state belong to subscribers of theirs.  I find it interesting that the other phone companies like AT&T and Verizon don't have this problem.  They state they will have the subscriber not call my # if I contact them at customerservice@pacifictelecommunications.com   They used to respond to my requests now they ignore me after I've had to ping them so many times.  Of course it could also be because they are in trouble with the law.   If anyone needs the proof points I have it in email from them. My compliants to them and their replies.

I get this number on my cell phone at least 5 times a day. I never answer cause I don't recognize the area code. after reading all the blogs about this number alot of people have been receiving that same call.
I am on the donot call list, but I get alot of unknown numbers. how do they get  numbers. I want to report this number..

I keep getting calls on my cell phone from this number and no one is there when you answer.  I have registered with the Do-not-call service for my cell phone and yet they still call.  There has to be something that can be done to prevent this from happening.

various numbers of which this is one keep calling about low interest loans ( I guess)  When I stay on the line, they hang up as soon as I start to say "take me off the list".   They keep calling from different numbers.  Today they called and when I stayed on the line to tell them to take me off the list, the guy used profanity and hung up on me.  I wish someone would deep six this company and their vendors!!!!!

I get calls about lowering my credit card bills.  If you press the number they say to ask for more info and ask to be placed on the do not call list, they immediately hang up on you.

If you recall this number, the line is picked up and you get and immediately recorded "goodbye"

Called it back and just got a message saying "Goodbye"

i received a call from this number and they did leave a message but when listening it was so garbled i could not understand it.  I tried to call back but always rings busy annoying.

Card Services important message.  After pressing 1 and asking for the company to identify which bank is calling, the representative disconnected the call.

Usually I answer and they hang up, this time someone left a message that was incoherent.  Just want em to stop calling.  Since I am the national do not call list for cell phones I find this quite frustrating.

WCA Subscriber Services is an entirely different scam than the robo Rachel calls.
The bad news is that you are dealing with a company that is owned by a woman in India and registered in Cyprus.

People should continually file complaints with their Attorney Generals office and also file with:

If enough people keep complaining then maybe something will get done. The only option is to go after the companies that are outsourcing to overseas boiler rooms.

They want to lower my interest rate on my credit card, when I they find out the debt amount I don't have enough debt, they indicate they can't help me.  They disconnect me, when I call back it's busy or they are very rude.

I didn't answer and they left no message. Suspect it's a telemarketer.

Stop calling me and remove me from your listing.  I pressed 1 to ask them to remove me and the rude lady hung up on me.

"Ann" was very rude!!!!!!!!!!! When told to take this number off their calling list immediately, her response was a giggle & then saying really maam really. The do not call registry does not stop these irritating calls at al.l

I am constantly getting calls from this number to get a recorded message.  I don't owe anybody and they want me to lower my credit card rates.   This is BS and they are using my minutes.

They call all the time but when I hit 1 to talk it hangs up.I am tired of these scam artist bothering me.

More unwanted numbers on cell phone.  I never answer.
