Got the same call today... 2X.   Recorded message said my AT&T number was frozen.   I did give them the last 4 of my SS number.   Not sure what they can do with that... hopefully nothing!  UGH!   Any ideas on the purpose of the scam or what they can do if you answer the call or provide the info?

Just received a call from +611 did not answer and I am thankful I did not. I do not answer calls if I do not recognize the number. If it is important they will leave a voice mail.

I got 2 calls today.

I don’t use VH and I got the call. No message left. 2 call in 6 hr.

I got a missed call from them so I will just delete it! I have Sprint and the phone bill insist in my name

I just received a call, caller ID showed 611. I pressed answer but did not say anything. A recording immediately starting playing saying that “ your AT&T wireless account has been suspended. To deactivate it, please press 1 now”. I remained silent and didn’t press any number, then the call hung up.  This is clearly a scam as I do not have AT&T wireless service.

received an 611 call on my Verizon cell phone, it was a recording from AT&T telling me my account was locked. I do not have an AT&T account! WTF

I just received a call From 611, didn’t answer since I don’t answer phone calls from unrecognized numbers; from what I read on here, glad I didn’t.

I received a call today from 611. I did not answer, but calledthe number right back and got Sprint's Customer Care. The Rep told me that Sprint does not have a Customer Care number 611 and transfered to the Fraud Dept.

OMG!!! I had no idea that could even happen. I've had a bunch of calls from them. I answered once and said nothing. The robo caller went through the process of acting like I answered the questions like my phone number, last 4 of my social etc. I didn't answer so I wasn't worried, but with this in mind I'm super worried except that it's a new phone and I limit my saved card info so hopefully that's not happening to me...

Apr 28, 2018 3pm recd call with id 611 Australia. Did not answer. Went to voicemail and left no msg!
Got scam written all over it!

Yes, it's definitely a scam..said it was AT & T, which I don't have..wanted my zip code and social

I just got a +611 number calling me. I was too scared to pick up the phone because my first instinct is to hang up immediately when I receive an unknown number calling me, but I was curious because in all my 4 years of owning a phone, of the same company and brand I had never gotten a +611 call. Then I looked online to see if others had received the strange call and realized was from at&t but my phone gets updated messages from my phone company reporting payments. So this struck me as weird and unnatural to get a sudden call. Scrolling further many people said is was scammers calling them and asking for information. Whatever it is I'm glad i ddint pick up anyways as my phone is working completely fine so I can only assume if u get a 611 call, don't pick up

They left my husband a robot call voicemail that said "due to unusual activity, your online account has been locked". Did not respond. He has NO online accounts.

I'm having the same problem but I don't answer it because I don't know who it is firm to states unknown +611

I was looking around my settings, the cellular data part, when I accidentally click on customer report.
Nothing happened after I clicked out but then it said that I was calling 611, or 611 was calling me.
I’m very confused, as it isn’t the company’s customer support number.
When I googled 611, I only got results for some angel number and sun signs.

3times each minute I got a call from this number does anyone know who's number this is I keep getting calls from different 3 digit numbers make it stop

its a non-emergancy police number im pretty sure

Got a call saying since they’ve tried for 6 months to get ahold of me with no success, it is deemed an international fraud case and charges are being filed against me with the US govt. I tried calling number it came from and got a canning complete the number. Dial *611 to speak to a representative. Sounded like s scam so I googled *611 scam and got here.
