Call a few times every day/night, no message. Hello - No call list!?

The National Do Not Call Registry does not limit calls by political organizations, charities, telephone surveyors, and companies that you currently do business with. 613-688-3625 claim they are seeking information(surveyors) not money therefore they are not blocked.
I want all unwanted calls blocked. Is there a way to block everyone but your friends and family? A Phone company option?  Thanks

received 4 calls on Sat 7-12 never left message. they are calling into Area Code 678 (GA)

Called it back to find out who was always calling, left message to be removed. On my next phone bill I was charged $2.75 + taxes for a 3 minute call. I just love the power of our Do Not Call registration, what a joke.

These people call CONSTANTLY at 8:00 in the morning or 7:00 at night.  Very random.

People from this # call at very inappropriate times, early in the morning, on Sundays, late in the evening.  I am supposed to be on the national do not call list.  Do they get around this by routing through Canada?  I work shift work & don't appreciate the interruptions when I'm trying to get out the door to go to work or get to church on Sunday, plus no one should call on Sundays. I'm sorry, but that's just plain wrong.

They call twice in a row, minutes apart, no caller ID but only the number.

This is an Ottawa-area number.  The repeat calls are very annoying.

Same as the rest. Started today 9/4/08 around 6PM EDT in the states, twice so far... caller id says OTTAWAHULL, ON. Sounds like we are in for it. Thanks everyone, it's great to at least know it's nothing important.

They called 8x's today from 4:43p.m.until 8:28p.m. My incoming calls display on my television.  I answered none of them. Thanks for your comments, they were very helpful.   If this starts again tommorrow I wont be as passive.

Similar to others here. Message on my machine from 613-688-3625 that is 5 to 10 seconds of background call center type noise but no message.  Yes, I am on the do not call list. My location is Washington state. At least they don't call me several times a day like some folks.

They've called me two days in a row, both times between 5 and 6 p.m. but I wasn't home. I called back and I got a recording about some sort of research, but it was very vague, too vague for me to feel at ease about answering the next time they call.

As others repetitive calls.  Have told them to delete me.  More calls.  Called number, kiosk through to do not call provision that allowed you to VERBALLY state your number with warning that it would take some time for it to get purged from their system.  Does not compute - a kiosk followed by verbal recording?  Told them I was on do not call list.  Was politely told that market research concerns were exempt.  This all started when I posted my phone number on a local internet classified ad.  Also started getting emails stating that they were to buy my "property" and would send an check exceeding my purchase price and I was to refund to them the difference (thousands of $) as their "fee" for the transaction.  Come on.... do they think that we are that dumb?  Oh, and the emailer wrote after a few days that he was sorry for the delay as he had been ill and had to have an "inspection".  At least learn English.

calls and doesnt leave a message a couple times a day.

613-688-3625 has called several times daily, just filed a complaint with Oklahoma Attorney General!
