They call everyday but when I answer the phone, no one is there. It's getting VERY irratating!

I have been receiving calls from this number too. It states Ontario and then the number.  EVeryday at least for a few weeks, then I picked up the phone they kept saying hello hello hello. Finally i said " STOP F****** CALLING ME" I said is that clear enough for you.  There was silence i dont think they will call anymore.

This number calls every weekend on the hour.  6136883625, wish it would stop.

They have called my house several times.  Fed up - I called the number back, their message machine says that they are a market research firm (conducting research in Canada and the US) and because they do research that they do not have to abide by the Do Not Call list. They apparantly have their own do not call list which I registered for. Hopefully this will end the annoying calls.

No body left a voice mail

Talked to a lady there who said their company was called Audience Studies and they are a national media research firm.  They are not bound by the DNC list as they are not telemarketers and aren't selling anything.  The lady said they were looking for women between 18 and 30-something (can't remember the exact age) who would be interested in watching a situation comedy and then answering questions about it.
According to her, they do have their do not call list and you can get on it...
We'll see how that works...

I asked what happens when they call and my line is busy (I don't have call waiting) and they said the number just gets recalled and recalled until someone answers.  So I imagine this is the same if you let your machine get it or aren't home...so that probably won't make them stop...at least that's what I gather.

Called three times in the last two days, hangs up without leaving a message.

I suspect this is some kind of credit agency, as I know of one in the Quebec area.

this number does call too often, no message, no ID...obviously telemarketing

Received 4 calls on a Friday night & Saturday, no message left; I called back the number per the display and got a [telco?] message that the number was not in service. Presumably unwanted marketing by telephone - despite being registered in the Do Not Call registry.

They call, and nobody is on the line it is dead air. and the calls are getting annoying and starting to piss me off !!!

Get all of the same previous remarks.  Why can't we ever find out who it is?  I don't answer either except it says it's from Ontario, & area code indicates Ottawa
