got a call today. left no mssg. caller id says Flake-Wilerson.
Annoying.
On DNC list too... calling land line

The same thing happened to me with att and verizon.

I just ported my number on Friday, I received a call from this # with no voicemail left.  

It looks like they are a marketing firm.  I am assuming they are trying to get information why I switched from at & t to Tmobile.

just happend to me. i got my new verizon phone on fri. and just received the missed call today.

I got a call on my cell phone from this number.  If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer it.

Same deal here.  Ported my number from Cingular/ATT to T-Mobile a week.  Now, I'm getting calls from this number on my home phone at all hours of the day and night.

I received a called from Flake-Wilkerson a few days after I put in a warranty claim on my cell phone.  The guy was polite and basically just asked how my warranty transaction had gone.  That was the only information he asked.

Received call 6/27 17:15 hrs

Told lady we were on do not call list and she said she got number from AT&T and was checking to see if we were satisfied with service. Told her if we weren't satisfied we will let them know.

Called approx 4-5 times in 2-3 hours

Keep getting calls from this number. I don't answer because I don't know the number. They never leave a message. I went to the website found below and completed a DO NOT CONTACT form. After submitting it, the website said it would take up to 3 business days to update....we'll see if they stop calling after 3 days. I am starting to get calls from them... the last time I got those calls, I asked for employee number, and company name so I could turn them over to the state attorneys general office, and didn't hear from them again until now.

For what I just read above, I assummed that is the people from ATT. I just cancelled my account with them, three days ago, (July 5, 2008). It was an account for over 5 years.

Go to http://www.marketstrategies.com/do+not+contact.aspx and you can request getting taken off of their calling list.

My mother has received this call twice in the last two days. I just signed up with a prepaid cell phone company, and they notified Cingular/AT&T that my account with them would be cancelled. This company, if it was hired by AT&T or Cingular to conduct customer service calls, probably called an old number on my Cingular account to ask why I wanted to cancel.

I don't answer unsolicited calls

I've gotten 2 calls from this # two days in a row.  Very annoying, b/c they happen at wierd times of the day.  Thanks to all who've explained who this is.  They need to leave all of us alone!

just a little insight for you.

the purpose of a survey call is not to sell you anything nor is it to get any money from you what so ever.  that being said... survey calls are EXEMPT from the national do not call list so why dont you stop your griping and pick up the damn phone and tell them to put you on THEIR no call list. otherwise they are going to call you up to 6 times in a month.  it will save you a little annoyance because by not picking up the phone you are just being ignorant!!!

AND you can ask them all day long how they got your number and all they can tell you is that the numbers are dialed randomly.  even if you talk to a supervisor.

Regarding the above post, this person is absolutely correct about the the no call list and the fact that there are a lot of regulations that do not apply to research firms such as this one.  I worked with a company like this for a few months, and was trained to give predetermined responses to all questions.  As stated the best thing to do is just answer the call and just tell the people that you are not interested and that you want to be taken off the calling list/put on the list of people not to be called

I am reporting the above referred to number to the FCC and will take legal action if necessary if I continue to receive calls from this number.

This number has been calling at least once a day at differnt times for a few weeks. We are also on the Do not call list and we do have at&t for ceel and home service.
