Accidentally answered with "Hi.  This is Jan".  Male voice 20-45 answered "Hi" then I hung up.  First time from this number.

Constantly getting calls from the number 617-292-7701. Caller ID says TELEFUND. they never leave a message and call nearly ecry single day!

I called (617) 292-7700 and requested my number be taken off their list. Very nice person said it should be taken care of within 24 hours.

they cal every hour on the hour and up till 9:30PM.

I am reporting a call to my cell phone , a SoCal number..3/19/10// no message but I see from this board, that these are, perhaps, fraudulent calls,

they're calling again and not leaving a message.

report calls like this, even if you don't answer, to the Do Not Call registry. They'll pursue the company, perhaps fine it, perhaps close it down. Here's where to file the data:

Called my husband's cell phone #. His cell is a phone owned by the company he works for and not to be used for personal use. Don't know how they obtained the #, since it is only for intercompany use. Called at 7:30pm.

Young male caller claimed to be a political fund raiser and asked to speak to my father.  I politely told him that my father did not respond to solicitation phone calls, but would be happy to see any info through the mail.  I was rudely told that that would be cost prohibitive.  I asked exactly what organization he represented and he wouldn't tell me.  I told him to put our number on his do not call list and hung up.  He called back immediately and asked again to speak to my father.  I told him to never call our number again and hung up.  Most political fundraisers or fundraisers for non profits (we give to alot of them) are extremely polite and professional.

I have been getting calls as well. I called the number back and got a voicemail saying if you want to be removed from their calling list to leave a message with your phone number. Hopefully that will work and it is not just a way to verify I'm a good number so they keep calling, we will see.

Kept getting calls, with caller ID TELEFUND. Called the number suggested by someone here (617-292-7700). Phone was answered by a real person, who was very pleasant, and who immediately agreed to remove my number. I'll have to wait and see, but I'm actually quite confident....

I just answered a call from this number (they've been calling me for weeks and not leaving messages) and it was someone from the Democratic National Convention.  They should be ashamed.  They are giving themselves a really bad name.

I have been getting missed calls from this number on my mobile phone twice a day for the past few weeks. I have tried to answer a few times, they specifically say my name, but the connection is so bad i can never hear anything after that. I have tried calling back but their mailbox is always full.

Its the Human Rights Campaign. They finally said something when I answered.  I used to support them but told them they'd annoyed me so much I no longer was interested.  They actually said "give us $35 and we'll take you off the no call list."  I said, "NO. You'll take me off the no call list and I won't give you $35." Call them to get off their list.

Telefund.  Just call them at the main line of the office that is calling you (Boston in my case) and request to be removed from the call list.

We get a call from the number two or three times a day. Number shows up on our answer machine as Boston, MA.  No message is ever left.

They call me almost every day, usually twice around 1pm, and twice around 6pm.  Then they won't call for a few days, and then they start trying again.  I never answer, and they've never left a message.  I tried to call back once just to see if i got a recording, and the phone just kept ringing.

I called the main TeleFund Boston number (617-292-7700) and spoke to a really nice guy. I told him I wanted my number removed from the list, he asked for my number, and he said "You should be set." I have not received a call since, and before I was getting two a day, so I recommend calling them if you're tired of this.

Can't count how many times they have called. I doubt they're truly an Obama or any other nonprofit org. I've only gotten silence and innumerable calls I didn't pick up. Won't leave a message on their sketchy "leave your # on our voicemail if you don't want calls" voicemail. Anyone have an idea how we can collectively stop these people??!?!?!?!

The firm Telefund is making the calls on behalf of a host of clients, including (but certainly not limited to) the Democratic party and the ASPCA. The e-mail address is info@telefund.com. After receiving multiple daily calls for months, I finally send a message to ask them to stop calling. Companies that call on behalf of nonprofits and some political organizations are, I believe, exempt from the Do Not Call regulations. However, there must be a way to block these calls (Google Voice has a way, but I have not tried it).
