Thank gosh for GoogleVoice - run all my calls thru it first, and as these pop up, send them to Voice He**.
They get the "dooh, Dooh DOOh sound, "this number is no longer in service".
They quit calling.

These homewreckers have called several times and I don't use my home phone # for anything or anyone!  EVER

These types of calls will continue, especially with economy in the pooper.  If you do not know the number--DON'T ANSWER!  Best advice ever--believe me on this one! ~~> Some calls are from the Middle East & Asia, they ask you to press pound or a number then pound, it gives them access-via your permission-to charge your phone bill, so beware.  When you get your bill you notice the excessive charges--ranging from a few dollars to hundreds!  

Some of the calls come from Canada because they do not have to abide by the same "do not call list" as do US telemarketers.

If your number may already be on a do not call list, then go to this wwebsite, it is the FCC--US GOV where you can make a complaint.  You may have to cut and paste this into your web browser as they may not allow links on here.

I AM POSTING THIS EXACT MESSAGE ON SEVERAL OTHER BAD PHONE NUMBERS--YOU MAY SEE THIS AGAIN!!

They call for various organizations... I told them to stop calling for one, a couple of months later they start calling for another one.  Seems Democratic/Liberal bent.  I just wish when I tell them to get my number off their list, they would globally block it for all their charities.

Got a call from this number. They asked if I was so-and-so. I said yes and they immediately hung up. Never identified themselves.

I keep telling them my number is not the person they want.  They ask are you sure and I say well it has been my number for 15 years so I should know.  Ok we will remove and then they call back.  I bought a coaches whistle anad I now blow it in the phone on the next call from any telemarketer, research, people asking for money, after I ask them not to call. Funny I am not getting third calls anymore.  LOL

Keeps calling my elderly mother's house everyday. The only thing it says on her caller i.d. is "Massachusetts call".  She just doesn't answer the phone. They never leave a message, but keep calling. How is this not harassment? These people should have to comply with the Do Not Call List. This is why politicians are a joke! These are exactly the kind of people I do not want calling me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clearly, from the messages we have here, this is a Telefund outgoing number. They're not a scam, they're not trying to ruin your day, they're just soliciting donations. You (or someone else) gave them your number. That's why they're allowed to call. I've worked at an organization like Telefund--they don't generate the lists of numbers, they get them from the organizations they work for, who sell phone numbers to other organizations. That's why you can get a call from the same number from the ACLU, Obama, ASPCA, etc. over and over, even after you tell one "no." Because the ACLU sold all their donor's numbers to Obama.

You can hate it, but even with a pretty high rejection rate, it's the best way for most national organizations to raise money. If you want them to stop calling for this campaign/client (of course there will be others) best bet is to answer the phone, tell them you're unable to contribute although you support their cause, or that you do not support this cause and would like to have your name removed from this list.

If you don't want on a list, just make sure that when/if you donate that you don't provide a phone number. It's not required. And don't give them someone else's number, or they'll just be on this list complaining.

They've called so many times, I don't have a clue. FAR too often.  Mostly nothing and no one on the other end.  Sick and tired of them!!!!!!!!!!

This number has called me repeatedly over the last month or so. It is a very pushy fundraiser for Obama and/or the democrats. I've stopped answering as I now recognize the number and they never leave a message.
