Seriously annoying. I called Black Berry Customer Service to report it and they are getting back to me. With an incident reporting # and everything.
It is Creepy that someone/group? is trying to contact people. This could be a small time prank but then again it could be a way for people to know more info about you. if in doubt check with Blackberry themselves. WTF. !!!!!
The message said you have won 375,000 and a Blackberry Bold 9900 email to bbpclaimsdept@msn.com and use Ref # BBP/20/11 to claim your prize. Ha Ha Ha - really GET A HOBBY!!!

I recieved a text on my cell that read as follows.. you have won a blackberry and 375,000 dollars. this message was from bbpclaimsdept@msn.com l'm sure its some kind of scam but to get a text on your cell phone l mean come on. getting this spam on the computer is bad enough let alone it starting on your cell phone. does anyone know any details about this..

I got this SMS from bbpp@mobile.ca  It says; ' () You have won the sum $375,000 & Blackberry BOLD9900 mobile phone.  Email Ref#: BBP/63/0212 to bbpclaimsdept@dorak.ca for claim'   I GOOGLEd the company, and it says it's SPAM.  How did they get my number, and I don't even use a blackberry!

Same here, only mine was a blackberry bold 9900 and $375 000.

Woo Hoo!  $375k!  Wait a minute... I received this the instant I reviewed an iPhone app (Parking Pay by Phone).  Related?  Not sure, but I will email Apple and post a response if I get one.

My message was a text from bbpp@mobile.ac.  I think .ac is used for UK education institutions (like .edu in the US).

I too have gotten this message from BBp/63/0212claimsdep@56788.com, what the HE DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS!!!! my cell is about 7 yrs.old and I hardly ever use it, I only buy min.
