This is Kantar Ops, doing surveys, calling numbers on the National No Call Registry and violating federal law in the process.  Call their CEO Beth Teehan (630) 955-8642, and tell her to cut it out.  Also contact the Illinois State Attorney General (the company is in Naperville, ILL) at (312) 814-3000 to file a complaint.  The Federal Trade Commission can also help with these creeps: (877) 382-4357.  Interstate phone harassment is illegal and the Illinois branch of the FBI can also help. They have no right to violate you by calling you at home after you put your number on the no call list.  Let's teach them some respect for our decisions not to be contacted!

Why doesn't do not call stop these?  Tired of solicitors beating the system!

If you're on the national Do Not Call List, and you report Kantor Ops, you'll find out that you had signed up for something that gave them the right to use your number. The only thing you can do is kindly ask Kantor to take your number and address off of ALL of their lists. If they call you after you've asked them not to, THEN and only then can you report them.

The thing with the Do Not Call list is that it only works if you never sign up for anything, never buy anything, never donate anything, or flat-out never do anything on the Internet or even by mail. Once you give your telephone number and address to a company, they have the right to give it to all of the companies that they are connected with or own. There's always extra-fine print saying something like "We will not sell your information. We do share it with other companies owned by the *insert name* Corporation." That means EVERY company that their parent corporation owns. I bought something from Victoria Secret and wound up getting calls, mail, and email from not only Victoria Secret but Spiegel, Newport News, Bath and Body Works, Metro Style, and Venus Clothing as well. I got something from J Crew, and wound up with Johnston and Murphy and Cambria Cove catalogs and emails as well.

I just got a call from Kantor Ops myself. Apparently, they do "marketing research". It's probably so that they can gather information on what crap to try to sell you later on. I just hung up because I was too busy to deal with them. If they call again, I'll ask them to take me off of their call list.

Hi everyone. Unfortunately I work for Kantar/Milward brown.
I don't like having to call you people and ask you to do surveys but it's the only job I can get right now. However I must tell you two things.
1) Were really not selling anything
2) We are actually exempt from the DNC legislation because the DNC is only to control the activities of telemarketers and we are a genuine market research company. So you can report, but it will do no good.

Just a bit of advice? When you decline our calls, maybe be a little nicer? A "no thank you" can completely turn an employees day around rather than being screamed at

This number calls my home phone several times a month. I don't answer it as I
can't locate this company. It's a neusance.

Kantar called us this week as well. I understand day to day surveys on day to day use. But the representative went from asking about daily uses to private health questions, asking if anyone in my house has recently been diagnosed with cancer. Now why anyone other than my doctor needs to know that beats the heck out of me....but I told her that it isn't anyones business she then apologized I then hung up. Seen the earlier tip about going to their website to opt out of the calls.....guess what site I'm going to next. KANTAR!!!!!

I rec'd this call today, they hung up when I answered the phone. I plan to file a complaint against whoever this is!

I got this call tonight at 6:00 PM.  It said Kantar Ops on caller ID.  The man said some research name.  When I pointed out I was on the do not call list he told me as they weren't selling anything they didn't have to use this list.  I told him well you keep calling so take me off your list.  He told me "fine, but you don't have to be rude about it"

First time that I have received a call from them. I hung up on the telemarketer. I am also on the "do not call list" and will report them if they call again.

I am also on the DNC list, and if Jeffifer or any other employee of that company thinks that it's okay to call and call and call, despite our requests for them to stop then they really need to learn a little about respect of privacy.  WE PUT OUR NAMES ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST FOR A REASON.  If you think you will somehow find some happy person by ignoring the DNC list then you need to find another job.  

I have just filed a compaint against them with DNC and the next complaint will be with the BBB.  Shame on you Kanter Ops for ignoring the wishes of people, just so you can make a buck.

Yep. Me too. Every couple of days. Won't leave a message. I LOVE to talk with them for just sec.

Same message as all the others. Several phone calls a day. I don't answer because I don't recognize the name or number. They call early - they call late. I'm on the "Do Not Call" list. No messages are left on the answering machine. Very annoying. Will report this as violation of the "Do Not Call" law.

Annoying Phone Calls from Kantar Ops reflects on caller ID every single day at least 2/3 times a day.

Been calling our home phone and not leaving a mssg.  all times of day/evening.  pain.  Will be reporting them.  I am on the DO NOT call list.

Got a call from KANTOR OPS tonight 630 505 3008. Answered the phone and nothing. I subscribe to the DO NOT CALL LIST Who are these people. Really annoying. Got the name and number for caller ID

Didn't answer. Didn't leave a message on  my answering machine.
