 it is really annoying I have already notified (DO NOT CALL REGISTRY) Hoping that they would STOP '

WCA Subscriber Services is a scam company that actually started online before going to the phones.  These people go to great lengths to steal your phone number from legitimate business sites (say, your insurance or medical bills, etc.) so they can call you to try to either pick you clean with "ads" or steal your identity.
WCA actually calls from several different area codes/numbers, and it's usually an automated call, so you rarely get to actually talk to someone.  The one time that I was able, I threatened him with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and their local FBI-FU (Federal Bureau of Investigation - Fraud Unit) if I wasn't given all of the information I wanted:
How did you get my unlisted number?
Who is in charge of stealing phone numbers from other businesses?
What is your full name?
What is your manager's full name?
What actual city and state are you calling from?
Why does WCA have 20 different area codes?
And will you testify that WCA is a legitimate business that doesn't steal information in court?

They'll try to interrupt while your asking these questions, but don't give them time.  Rattle the questions off like a telemarketer does, not giving your victim time to think.
You could actually call the BBB and/or call/email the FBI (although contacting the FBI is not to be taken lightly, don't call just because someone won't stop calling.  only if you think your identity is in crisis), but usually just threatening unknown telemarketers with them is enough.

Never,  N  E  V  E  R   choose a menu option (from WCA) just to see what its about, or in hopes of talking to someone.  99% of the time, this is just a way for WCA to "sell" your number to even more unwanted businesses.  This is how they make their money.  They don't ever actually gain money from your wallet.  Other businesses will pay them for your number just for the off-chance that some sucker will answer the phone.   And 7 out of 10 of these "businesses" are just turning around and doing the same thing WCA is.

These are multi-million dollar "companies" that are making money from other companies just because they were smart enough to find a way to steal your phone number/email address.

Of course, all of us who are 30 - 50 yrs old can thank our parents for giving that woman at the store their info just to make them go away.  Remember that from childhood?  An in-your-face lady would approach your parents (or you, if you looked close to legal age) and talk them to death into filling out a survey or a "chance" card.  And they'd actually do it.
How many of these businesses run by 30 - 50 year old hackers do you think spawned from these seemingly innocent surveys?      ...   roughly 85%     ...   thanks, mom and dad.

i got a call from this company also they have other different number like 805-309-9519 i try to stop the calls but i can't.,somebody know what to do? i appreciate it thank you

why would you text a telemarketer

I've started receiving those machine voice calls about a month ago and I've followed the advice to key #+0 and then #+0 and again #+0. I got the option to stop my subscription by pressing 1. I heard the message that it will take them b****rds up to 7 days to process my request, so let's see what happens. I am not so optimistic about it, but decided to give it a try.
Now, something is bothering me... I had no calls from WCA until.....I registered for the HGTV Dream Home Giveaway 2011! I did it numerous times in both www.hgtv.com and www.frontdoor.com. HGTV promised that all entries and contacts will be kept confidential and I hope they better meant it! Because, if it turns out that they have shared contacts with some bull***t telemarketer, or somehow allowed some bull***t telemarketer to steal the info from them, then OMG! Bad, bad TV! Not that I just won't allow anybody at home to switch to and watch HGTV, but also will call/contact Dish Network to remove that channel from my list. Sounds weird, but there is "a first time" for everything, right? This is America, nothing's impossible. Or all of a sudden, I may become rich in no time!
Has anybody of you, guys noticed such a strange coincidence with the WCA calls you've been receiving? Please share your thoughts about it. Please.
So, if you, guys at HGTV have something to say, then better say it before it is too late. If it is what I'm thinking it is, then you guys at HGTV better use your Californian connections to stop this Californian telemarketer pretty, pretty quickly. No offence to all of you Californian fellas (honest people), but the Californian connection just popped up in my mind. Really, no offence.
And if you, HGTV guys have nothing to do with these WCA calls, then please accept my apologies, and please try to help us out. You are in the business and you’ll probably know who pulls the trigger for these WCA calls. Just like all the doctors know each other and know who is doing what, it is the same with the TV/Marketing business. But better safe than sorry. Because when the people start talking negative about your TV/Company (even if you are innocent), you’ll get the domino effect, or tsunami, or... you name it. Good luck!

Just recvd call from live person at "WCA Tax Subscriber Services" 657-202-6832.  Couldn't call back after guy hung up on me.....recording said they couldn't accept calls from blocked line & to press *82.  Of course that didn't work either.  Find comment about hip replacement very interesting; had mine done exactly 1 week ago.  Makes you wonder about our "strict" HIPPA laws.

Ughh This so call WCA are pissing me off! getting at least 3 calls a day! like if i had nothing else to do beside waiting their calls lol.. and of course trying to unsubscribe and it says my # is NOT on their data base what an ass whole!

wca is owned by firebrand in las vegas they are a member of dma  just joined in sept. ihave some nos. to call firebrand 1800-992-6299 if no luck call vagas no. given to me by dma its a voice mail so just slam it full. dma is 212 768 7277 ext 1155 ask to speak to a superviser they did not believe me and wanted me to fill out a form i said they should just google it and they will see what a fine outfit wca is but if i fill out a form they will look into it, i say slam dma till they believe with phone calls, good luck my fellow internet users

I have the same problem with WCA subscriber services. This time I "won" $2,500 because "someone I know" put my name in a draw! That is complete BS! This time I pressed 1 to accept, asked the person who the hell they are and why do they keep calling me, and needless to say the line went dead immediately. These people keep calling, each time it shows as originating from a different number from a different state in the US. I've had calls from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and this morning New York, to name only three. How do I get these people to stop??? And failing which how do I shut them down? When I phone back to the number displayed on my caller ID it always says I've phoned WCA subscriber services and this is a line for subscribers only and I'm not recognized as being a subscriber. Well how come you keep phoning me??

thank u guys, i am very uppset even to comment about the one who called me using the number 516-453-6923, he told me that i won a $120.00 gas gift card, and i need to pay a $5.00 in order to get my card, and the only way to pay,is through the credit or debt card, and i believe him cause i had a very long trip driving( a round trip from michigan to texas) and i thought perhaps one of the gas company use to offer gift cards to the very active customers, and i thought i am the one, but in the reality, i am just the stupit to belive on phone sevices! what i learn, is , i have to go back to the clasic era, and deal with the real peaple and true action! i will never give my credit card information to the scam people again! wish you could learn too!
