This WCA Services is selling Wal-Mart gift cards and I have requested they stop calling. The guy was so rude!!!! After I asked them to stop calling they continued to call and hang up once I awnsered. Their Number 302-394-9576. Call Wal-Mart if they bother you!

I get calls all day every day from these people, from 626-521-5599, 313-528-6738, & 724-280-934, which clearly is missing a number. They asked me 4 survery questions about grocery shopping & wanted me to give them credit card info to pay shipping on a $1000 gift card. This has been going on for about a month or so.

Got the call from 609-318-9632. Same BS. Opted out by using the menu. Doubt it will work. One was because I received one unsolicited text and got $150. If they get busted, you'll be on record as receiving a call and could get some cash back.

I just got called from them today too.  Who are they? Is it a spam call? The automated voice told me I subscribed to their services on September 5, 2011.  I don't remember subscribing to anything.  I think it's a fluke.

You say "our" subscribers, which means you work for these scumbags.  You say you do not call anyone who has not subscribed to your service, well guess what... I NEVER subscribed to your scam, but yet that did not stop you from creating a fake subscription date and calling me anyway!

I have tried numerous times to be removed from this "service", and every time I get someone on the phone and ask for a supervisor or ask how I supposedly registered, I am hung up on.  

My number has now been added to the DNC registry, and a complaint has been filed.  I will continue to do so every time you or one of your bottom dwelling friends calls.

WCA called from a 269 200 #### to me a few ago to remind me that my number was subscribed to WCH the day I bought my new 3D phone in July, from a major provider affiliate company that is tough as nails to get honor corporate policy.

I am receiving calls 2 times a day and want it to stop!

call from 817 987 6708 in the morning, then call again, then on another day , I didn't answer, call back from different #, get WCA subscriber services  bs automated answering, enter my cell number, supposedly I am entered in a sweepstakes to win 100 dollars a day every time I answer ( and pay for) their meaningless calls at bad times to my cell phone, oh I might win i pods too!, according to their message under the automated cancel subscription option. I just created new cell account, new sim card, partly to get away from other annoying and persistent calls , some lasting over 6 months, Sundays and holidays included. The only way I could be subscribed with this company thru that new phone account is if the Cell company initiated or allowed it to happen somehow. Obviously the Cell phone companies have something to do with these telemarketers, either thru direct deals, by selling customer phone lists, or by not securing the their customers private information-essentially giving it away.

Dan, my theory is that these scummers get our numbers from the Federal Do Not Call List.

Someday in the perfect world telemarketing will be a crime.  Until then, we have to suffer & bear it.

In my opinion the DNC is probably the biggest & most widely used source for telemarket scummers.  Anyone who believes being on the DNC will stop these kinds of calls also believes that politicians are honest & Santa Claus is real!  All my numbers have been on the DNC since it began, & I think I have gotten more annoying sales calls since then than ever before.  If you do get a live person & ask them not to call, that your number is on DNC, they're as likely to laugh as to aplogize.

There is only one solution to this harrassment: strict enforcement of a Federal BAN on ALL telemarketing, legitimate or not!  Will that happen?  Sure, when an honest person gets elected to Congress.  Don't hold your breath!

Who are you trying to kid?  I've used your "unsubscribe" option, and it has no effect.  You simply lie, and claim we all subscribed in the first place.

This so called WCA service(717-265-1168) called to my cellular all the time. I'm using AT&T GOphone $2/day plan. When the day I don't use the cell, I got all kinds of prank calls to lure me to activate my $2 that day. I suspect, AT&T is the one of them behind the monkey business.

I am sick and tired of these [***] god damn people who keeps calling.  I had left messages for them to remove my number off their list twice already and the prerecorded message indicated that my number will be officially remove in 7-10 days.  Well - it's been over a month and still they have been calling every few days.  There's no live person to talk to and since I don't get any results, this is the only way I can voice my anger.  I really hope this WCA company will view this message because I hope the same thing would happen to all of them like the situation of the Aurora, Colorado incident where this guy comes in and shoots everyone.  If anyone is kind enough to go into the WCA headquarters and just wipe them all out, this annoying soliciting over the phone to everyone would stop.
This will make everyone glad that it had happened.

Get called 1-2 times a day!  I hang up on them.   Tired of being bothered!!

This company is a scam. they fly with at least 3 different company names. They are Vishing and if you dont know what that is google it. They try to get your personal info. They use zip phones (Untraceable). They also go under then name account services where they call u up and tell you they can lower your credit payments, blah blah blah. they only thing you can do is ignore their calls. Ill bet you all get the calls on your cell phones. they are relentless. I talked to the police they told me theres nothing they can do... so good luck and change your number....

New WCA number to add to the list 609-227-4849. They call our business # & cell #s multiple times a day. The BBB gives them an F rating. They are based out of Clearwater, FL but have endless landline #s all over the country. I have report them every time I get a call on the Do Not Call website file a complaint.

The calls are being made from outside the US however most of the call centers (where you actually talk to someone after pressing 1) are in the US and the companies making the money from the scam are owned by people in the US. They will charge thousands of dollars on your credit card without performing any services.

Many of these calls are coming from Costa Rica and India and they are using spoofed (false) numbers, which in itself is illegal. They do cold calling for or sell the leads to numerous companies in this country and they know that what they are doing is illegal. Tomorrow this same number may be selling Cruises, Timeshares or Security Systems but if you follow the money it usually ends up in the hands of an American LLC. Keep complaining to the FTC and FCC, and start bugging our politicians to pass laws to make it punishable in criminal court instead of handing out fines that they don't pay. Another course of action is to contact phone companies to find out why they won't block spoofed numbers. With today's technology that should be an easy thing to do, unless they are somehow profiting from the use of their systems.

The criminals behind this operation aren't going to pay attention to you asking to be removed from their list. Their calls cost them nothing and they can make a million of them a day so they have no intention of ever removing someone. When you press a key to talk to them all that is accomplished is to verify that they have a working number.
Unfortunately blowing an air horn or whistle doesn't work either. Their headset have noise dampeners plus they are expecting it. However with that said if it makes you feel better then by all means give it a shot.

For anyone thinking of using Special Information Tones (or as they're called in the industry SIT tones) to fake a non working phone number, they won't work. Since around 2001-2002, the costs of digital business lines have dropped dramatically, along with Voice over IP (Internet) telephone service. Neither of these use the SIT tones as the call information is carried separate from the audio.
This separate call information tells the calling party digitally if the call was answered, busy, voice mail, forwarded, rejected, etc. This renders SIT tones useless. Also the TeleZapper products that used to be on the market used this method as well, and were rendered ineffective for the same reasons.
It is also through this separate call information message that the spoofed caller ID information is transmitted.

Robocalls are illegal unless you have given them prior permission in writing (not worded into some small print contract from a 3rd party) and are absolutely illegal to a cell phone.  The Telephone Consumer Protection Act permits individuals who have received certain unlawful telemarketing, such as junk faxes or telemarketing calls, to sue the violator in state courts where they may be awarded up to $1500 for each violation.

Many of the disposable numbers come from Pacific Telecom Communications Group and they are currently under investigation and in the midst of various lawsuits. (The principles involved have been part of actions by the FCC under other business names).These businesses have ripped people off for millions of dollars, yet have paid only a couple of thousand dollars in fines. The only way to stop them is to throw them in prison for a few years to make this criminal activity less attractive.

The Oregon Public Utilities Commission has revoked Pacific Telecom's certificate to provide telecom services in Oregon.

The Indiana Attorney General’s Office filed lawsuits against:

Proof that current laws mean nothing to these scum suckers. Civil action by the FTC against such criminals is totally ineffective. These criminals need to be charged with Federal Felonies and subjected to significant jail time. All of those involved know that they are violating FTC regulations. The FTC levies huge fines, then rescinds them based on inability to pay. The FTC settles for the minimal cash on hand, and enjoins them from future telemarketing. Write your Congressmen and Senators. We need CRIMINAL penalties against the companies that are profiting from these calls. Follow the money, slap them in prison, no one left to outsource to overseas boiler rooms, problem solved. Since they are operating across borders it should become a federal felony and should be handled by the FBI under the RICO Act.
