I was looking through my girlfriends phone and saw the exact same text message as wingnut did but it was from gizmo398. I at first thought she was starting to look for someone else online behind my back. I was pissed but I am glad I looked into it. Thank God I would have made an ass of myself and probably lost my girlfriend if I didn't. BTW it was on a sprint phone too. LOL

yeah i just received the text like everybody else... but i also noticed this post has been going on for months! is there no resolution, save reporting to my phone company? They should be obligated to leave a "take me off the list" number or website per attorney genrals office?

I too received a two text messages in a row from luvcooper saying he got my number from a friend and that i would not be able to guess who he was.  I just deleted them and have not received any more messages.  People have to be really bored to send out these type of messages.  Get a life!

Ya just got the same message. You think with the technology that we have would allow them to figure this out quikly and shut it down probably nothing will really be done about the matter.

This is rap what can I do to keep this from happening again.

I know the company (or at least the number) is based in Iowa. Anyone interested in cotacting the company can look it up via a phone book.  If this harassment continues you can take legal actions at that point.  It is possible to press charges for 'harassment' to the company, you can file a subpoena and that would give you the legal authority to find the offending party via their computer or restricted phone numbers.  This is highly irritating and feel that this should be put to an end.
