I am also a sprint costumer, and I just got the same text massage.
I also wanted to let you all know this is not the first time I have a problem with Sprint. Last year somebody got on my phone line (I don't know how - but I believe it was a sprint employee) and made calls to the Dominican Republic, getting my phone bill up to $1,200!!! I had to fight with them for about 2 months! The minuet my contract is over with Sprint, I am throwing this phone to the trash and going to a new company!!!!

I knew this was phone scam when I got this text, because none of my friends have this phone number.

This is what my txt said: "Hello, I took your number off our friend, I bet you won't guess who this is! I'm too shy... check me out online, my profile is LuvCooper19.friends-box.org"

I looked it up thinking it was a scam or probably a phone or email virus and i find this site which means im not the only one its happend to and obviously its not someone that I know... Thank God cuz i thought it was prob my ex b/f being a stalker! I never saw a number attached to the message but im assuming that its either the 1-724-513-5424 or the 641-691-2937 number that everyone is talking about. Unless Puerto Rico has added a new cellphone area code i don't think that is coming from P.R. but then again i could be wrong, I am from Oklahoma but i know enough Puerto Ricans and they all havr 786 area codes on their phones. Hope that helps! They are prob pre paid phones people which means they arent evert going to be caught!

I got 2 msgs from this idiot too. Says he got my # from a friend & his name is LuvCooper19. Glad I checked this out, I'm calling T-Mobile to report this, don't know if it will do any good or not.

just did a reverse cell # search, this creep's in Marshalltown IA. If you're reading this, we can find you! Stop doing this to innocent ppl! We don't like paying for unwanted texts.

Well my txt came from fallingstar and she said the same thing that they said,wanna come see if you recognize me online? like every one else i am not amused at all!

this girl asia elder is ridiculous she thinks someone wants to call her and i dont care to much for the girl she is mad her husband has cheated on her and made a baby with me she needs to deal with it an except it. she has called me with a blocked number i got the police to pull my phone records and investigate the problem her number came up.get over yourself and get a life our child is here deal with it

I got one from a cutiepie8889.datearcade.org saying exactly the same thing as everyone else's here "Got your number from a friend, bet you can't guess who I am, can't wait to see ya".  I do not believe that it is any one person or multiple people sending these messages.  It's either a bot or generator that automatically sends these random 'names' to a list of numbers... a list that contains our numbers somehow... to trick us into getting involved on some ridiculous site. Bogus.
Most of us seem to have T-mobile.  Maybe somehow our numbers are public on the internet. *shrugs*  My girl is very smart and computer literate.  When I told her about this crap I was nervous, but she blew it off and said "It's crap."  I was relieved cus how would I explain something I had no idea bout and wondering if she would believe me at all.
