Lately,everyday I have been receiving calls from (646)843-6258..so far I have not answered,but going by the posts on this Page,I don't think I should answer it.

I JUST NOTICED A POST ABOUT SOME GUY WHO SAID THE GUY HE TALKED TO WAS CHINESE,AND FROM AIG....SAID I COULD A LOAN FOR ANY CAR AT ALL...ANY AMOUNT....I HAVE had calls like that before....a few of them...I was stupid enough to give him information he asked for-I wish he'd quit calling me.

I get calls from this number all the time.  It is a man with an Indian accent.  I keep getting calls from this number too.  

Sometimes when I answer..Hello 2 or 3 x's and get nothing and then a hang up...but they call several times a day.  I told them I would report them if they did not stop calling.  This is a scam.

you know what would be great?  if there was a way to press a button and have the phone that these people are using just explode when they call you sending shards of metal into their skulls so that they would just drop dead instantly and then they wouldn't call anymore.  what do you think?  dare to dream.

i just realized something about these numbers.  if you ever answer postings on craigslist for loans you will get emails from people claiming to be lenders.  they are typically overseas and they say they are private lenders and the email they send has an "application" in it that asks for certain things like name, phone and reason for the funds etc....
i have answered many of them and my phone number is pretty well circulated at this point.  i am sure that these calls are a result of that.  for those of you getting the calls - think about all the places you have given out your number....
i am going to finally change my number.  it's the only solution i think.

a man was called me with a middle easter accent telling me that my credit card application had been approved and he told me he neeed to more information and i asked him what kind of information and he needed my ssn and dob.he told me his working in the usa finance company.

We keep getting calls from this number and since we don't know anyone at that number we don't answer it......... So I googled it and saw these posts.

I have also recieved calls from this number as well as 347-625-3715  from a Alex thomas and officer Albert Anthony. telling me to contact an attorny because someone used my name as a contact when they got a loan.

to file a complaint against these ppl go to www.federalcomplaintassistance.gov or just google the Federal trade commission. They have a secure online application that allows you to file a complaint. It was quick... this number as well as a 347-625-3715 number has been calling person uses the name Alex Thomas but has a foreign accent... And the person calling from this 646-434-2472 number calls himself police officer albert anthony.. the number that shows on the caller id is 333-382-0416.. they have called and said that someone has used my social fraudulently ( alex) then immediately after (albert) calls and says a friend used my name to obtain a loan and that I should have an attorney call him back if I don not want to be sued.

Keep getting these calls.  I ignore it.  They have even called at 3 and 4 a.m.  I never answer.  Now, after reading these posts, I will continue to ignore it.  Or maybe I'll remind them they've been reported to the FBI.

HELLO!!!  If you really want to stop getting calls from annoying numbers like this, just add Call Intercept service on your Verizon Land Line.  There is a cost, but I believe this service should be free.  Also, most major cell phone providers offer a similar service, but once again it does cost money.  I strongly suggest that everyone who is tired of abusive annoying phone calls should write their Congressman and Senator, both State and Federal, and demand that legislation be introduced that requires all phone companies, land line providers and cell phone providers, to offer the call intercept/rejection service for FREE to all customers.  The other problem that can be corrected simultaneously is to force cell phone companies to offer a service that can BLOCK calls from callers who BLOCK their number or call from a PRIVATE number.  If the politicians receive enough requests for legislation, it will become law.  Don't just complain, do something about it.

I keep getting numbers from this number - at least 10 times a day.  They keep calling about a pre- approved auto loan that I never applied for. I tell them to stop calling me- Who are these people?

Last week when the guy called he was "Tiger Woods" today he was "Mike" from AIG approving my car loan and all I had to do was give him my social security number and banking information for him to put the money into my account..Like I am really that stupid!! I just reported him to the FBI. So when he calls back and I get to tell him maybe he will stop calling. If that doesnt work I think I will start waiting till 10-11 pm and start calling him and tell him he has been approved for a car loan, and make sure I call every night!

I have been calls from that number ALL day while at work....they will either call blocked or from that number and have asked several times for them to remove me from their call list. This has to be harassment.
